Good fights yesterday morning . Thanks to Miolo and Comenunca, sorry I couldn't stay longer had to work . Miolo, you now hold the record for my longest fight with a warg.
Thanks for the 1v1s yesterday Grim , sorry I had to cut it short, wife was getting upset that she wanted to watch Big Brother last night with her lol. But I had fun while I was playing.
While you were gone for a little bit, I guess crafting for Death, I think Jaxx's champion came out, a R1 Champion (Jacxx) to fight me, but he lost twice, wanted to keep on fighting, but had to log.
I think I'll be open for more today and tonight. I felt better that I had something better to do than getting zerged in OC from dealing from the zergfest at OC last night. I had to run though them in sprint just to get through them lol.
If I could remember where the stupid buttons were, I would probably spam mine too For some reason I always forget where the WS button is so I don't use TS or FH. I Don't play the others enough to remember where those skills are....

ThIs THREAD IS A BAD IDEA, IT JUST ENCOURAGES CIRCLE JERKING AND POPULARITY CONTESTS
These don't really exist anymore. I think I've seen 2 in the month I've been back and even those only had about 4 people. Usually it's just a creep and freep finding each other somewhere on the map and going at it.

You've only been back a month? Good, you can catch me up and we can re-learn together. lol

and yeah, 1vs1 is dead in Slode for a long time.
However, it doesn't mean that the pvp here sucks tho
I prefer RvR over 1v1s anyways. Both are fun but I like well-led, coordinated efforts more.
LOL I have seen you a few times. I haven't been out on my minni much in a while, but I do remember finding you a few times. I remember the outcome even if you dont. And I didnt use any cooldowns
BTW the name came from back in MoM when I told someone playing a minni was easy and named her that way...

Yes, I do remember. I don't know if you are bragging here about beating a creep on a mini... A Mini can outdps my BA while healing himself full.
Minis don't need cooldowns to kill any class in this game. Which is why I said what I said quoting you about wanting to use your cds in a 1v1 if you could find them. And that's what is even worse... Someone who doesn't even know where all the skills are can just faceroll creeps with ease...

Unfortunately we never had a 1v1 without interference, which means I have nothing to brag about. There is so much already said about the op minni, but not enough said about those people who play underdog classes(no pun intended). There are times when exceptional play compensates for the disparity. I personally think you play well and you are one I would like to point out who I have never seen run. You may or you may not, but I haven't seen it. So my respect goes to you. There are others that have nabbed me and killed me 1v1, tikilbungo(sorry if spelled wrong) is *enter explicitives here* hard to kill. This is a 1v1 thread so I want to thank all those who are willing to actually do a 1v1. And as far as the wary who solo'd the ranger....I just don't know what to say..
lol, nice 1v1 tinykisses-1, good to see ya back and facerolling that minnie. :P I thought I had you clean, then u got 1 more piercing cry stun off on me right as I was hitting revenge, lol. Was hilarious to see us both die at the same time. :P Good fight.
Thanks for the 1v1 Chrispbacon. Seems they have broken 1v1s now with all the buffs.
Even after losing that 1v1, I still have come to believe that the pvp changes are not all they are cracked up to be. I think creeps will NOT be OP after Arise and Kykbrand, etc. get lvl 85 and start Pveing again.
Thanks to Stinkypots and Comenunca for the 1v1s, finnaly somebody that allow me to "test" the new changes instead of just zerg freeps with level 75 gear/jewellery/weapons.
anytime u want to spar my WL elda we can :P I have some things I want to work out on Ashhsa And need a freep that wont exploit me to the death everytime. AND MY KINNIES ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

So yeah, nothing new here.
Agreed. Creeps are as good as they are going to get already. Most of the freeps coming out right now are still using level 75 gear and will only get better.
1v1's are pretty much dead in terms of fairness thanks to the way outposts work.

I think this is a good thing, actually.

Are you saying you like the outposts buffs as they are? Do you not think the side that has more people in the moors willl have an easier time of holding the outposts? Which would give them more of an advantage.
This is a pve zone. Why do I have to do pve to be competitive in a pvp zone? I would make them an infamy/renown buff instead.

I should have said I think "these are good things".
1st, yes the outposts making for more damage is a great thing. Theoretically, in a vacuum, yes, it makes the side with the most people able to do more damage. But that is NOT the reality. Defending all of the outposts, while maintaining a raid core worthy of combat, is impossible. Stealth groups will swing them back and forth. The weakest side can also have up to THREE rangers / trolls. That is huge. So, taking outposts is no longer "PVE", since before they did nothing; now, it is absolutely essential PVP. These are objectives to take and hold and fight over and defend and ninja. That is glorious PVP. What if a great raid lead, facing bad odds and having few outposts, waited until the larger opponent charged, to have his satellite groups all finish their outpost takes at the same time? What a huge swing, and tactical win.
2nd, the fact that it makes 1v1 clubbing for rank almost impossible (since the sides are NEVER even) is a good thing for Moors health. Stop clubbing and get with the throng.

Well I don't club when I 1 on 1. I just wander around the map looking for things I can kill. Sometimes it's a 1 on 1, sometimes I run into bigger fight and attack something. Very few times, especially with adaam quit do I do organized 1 on 1s. Even so, organized 1 on 1s could be very nice when the map was very zergy and all that was happening was me dying. No one should be forced into one style of play, such as raids.

Agreed.
I have tried the organized 1 v 1 stuff. Having done so, I don't think it's good for the Moors.

I think the main issue is your reality is different from everyone elses.
I doubt you will see many multiple rangers and trolls out when they are actually need. Rangers and Trolls for most part have been used as grief tools. Rangers and trolls cost comms. With audacity and pots not many people will have extra comms to use for Rangers/Trolls. Not to mention most people don't even like to play them. Maybe if you got renown/infamy on them you would see more but you don't get jack.
There is also plenty of people that have multiple accounts that will sit near outposts and call people out when they are taking them. This actually already happened with keeps.
Also, why is everything about raids with you? Most people on creep side actually dont raid. Raids are usually not needed. Stop just coming to the moors and starting raids. Check around first and see if there is a raid needed before starting one. I know you don't believe it but you will have much more fun small grouping when there is other small groups running around.
You should search about the difference between clubbing, 1v1, and 1v1 circles.
__________
Clubbing is when somebody farm a creep or freep that is not fighting back because the oposition is controled by himself in another account or is farming a friend.
In this situation the oponent dont fight back, so the player farming get full points with no risk.
You can search on the forums and see people complaining about f2play reavers trains geting farmed over and over and people making 100k renonw per day, we even have this kind of farming in our own server.
1v1 is when somebody roam the map solo and find another creep or freep solo and engage. There is a risk involved because both players can fight back and there is the extra risk about being called and if your fight dont end quick you may get zerged by the opossition.
1v1 circle is when a group of creeps and freeps set up an area to 1v1 or do small group fights. This have not the same risk as a real 1v1 but still can offer some risk since the other player is fighting back.
______________
Now if you understand about the differences that i try to explain (i dont speak english so forgive me) plz get back on topic because this is a thread to congratulate freeps or creeps about good 1v1 fights.
If you wanna discuss about the new pvp changes do it in another thread.
I have tried the organized 1 v 1 stuff. Having done so, I don't think that Im very good at it and I am jealous that 1v1ers are better players than me so I will do or say anything to degrade their playstyle.
Fixed.
Also: Im playing LoL now until a couple sPvP bugs are fixed in GW2.
I understand the context and meaning of the words being used quite naturally, including meme based subtext that might be lost on the less nuanced of readers. "Clubbing" means FIGHT CLUBBING, where people who know each other get together for staged fights... You know, like in the movie FIGHT CLUB. It's a closed circle, so the renown flows to everyone there in a structured manner. I don't like it, I don't do it, and while I generally leave it alone, there are times when I just say run over it, and pop 'em like renown filled zits.
But, whatever. To me, the term "Good 1v1 thread" is a strange term indeed. Like "Country Music" or "Military Intelligence".
And Aronath: I said nothing to "degrade" any play style. I simply said I don't like it. I'll leave you all to your lovely Clubbing thread.

After leading tonights raid I found (and most of the people in the raid agreed) that having to constantly keep flipping outposts is redundant and made for a lot of hide and go seek with the opposite raid instead of more fighting. However I do like how taking a keep can really swing the next fight in your favor even if your a little outnumbered.

Good to know.
How big was your raid? Full 24? Other side? Could you spare a few to go take outposts while the rest engaged?
