Those of you from closed beta may remember my in-game help for new testers thread. Lots of people volunteered, and I know more than a few new people made use of the list.
So, I am resurrecting the list, but with the advent of forums for each server, will limit each list to the particular server.
If you'd like to hold off on listing character names, just give me a heads up on your willingness to help and add character names later.
VETERAN PLAYERS: Please post here, if you want to help. I will do my level best to keep these updated on a daily basis, but I have multiple threads to deal with now, so PMing me makes a lot of extra work.
NEW PLAYERS: Following is a list of veteran players who will be willing to offer advice and answer questions in-game. They are not there to group with you and help you complete quests. They may offer to help you in this way, but that's not why they are listed here, so please don't ask them.

An entire RP Kinship, the Waywatchers of Cardolan' has an In-Character (IC) mission to protect travellers along the Greenway and an Out-of-Character (OOC) mission to help New Players with in-game help and raising awareness with RP in particular.
If you see someone with the guild tag 'Waywatchers of Cardolan' then you should expect the best help they can give. More specifically, I played some closed beta and have the starting knowledge to assist both IC and OOC. Of course, any roleplaying IC questions on the unofficial RP server are my preference but I would be delighted to jump to OOC convo/PM to help a new player out!
I can help out in game, not sure what my character names are going to be yet. As mentioned above, this is for advice and questions on quests/crafting/job classes/etc. I'm sure no one on the list wants to become an escort.
I will post my names when I make the final decision about what they are going to be.

Similar to the Waywatchers, the entire League of Arda will be available for help, whether it is simple assistance in quests, or assistance in terms of RPing, we will be there.
If help is needed, simply shout in OOC chat: "Need LoA help!" and a member of the League will be with you, if possible. Or, you could send one of us a tell in game.

o/ I'm always willing to help, provided I know the answer, in a OOC format. I can't promise that my character would be too friendly to some bumbling peon brushing up on her with ale-breath, but since I can't smell it, I'm always happy to help.
As some others have said I will post my character names as soon as the servers go live and they are made.
Also I will be willing to help in character or out.

Here is a chance to help a newbie. I am having trouble getting my game to save from one session of play to the next, meaning every time I log into play I have to start from the beginning (prison break, rescue hobbits). I have quickly toggled around all the areas of commands and didn't find a manual way to "save game", so I asked around in game and folks told me the game auto-saves between sessions. Well...that just ain't happening for me, although I admit I have not yet logged into play yet this evening and I progressed further during my last session than I had previously. Still, it's beginning to feel a bit like the movie "Groundhog's Day" for me.
Are there any general guidelines for quiting the game and getting it to save? Like, ongoing quests must be completed before the game will save? Please help, as I don't think I will be able to play this game if I have to start from the beginning each and every time I log in.
I am ElDee in-game, a human Lore-Master time warping in Archet and the general area. Any help would be appreciated.

I want to apologize to everyone for falling down on the job here. I have been ill for several weeks, and am only now beginning to feel human again. (Well, as human as I ever am ).
A few things to note.
1. I have removed a couple of names from the list because character names were never forthcoming. If those who may have been removed wish to be added back, please make a new post.
2. I am still receiving a number of PMs regarding the help threads. Please do NOT PM me regarding character names, etc. It is just too difficult to try to cross-referrence PMs with the individual threads. Please post in this thread!
3. When updating character names, please make a new post. Much too difficult at this point to go back through every page of the thread looking for edited posts. Updates = New Post. Thanks!
