A rather 'generic' postcard image, but in person Rivendell is STILL the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in a MMORPG. Just such artistry, the dev team should be proud:

Re: Postcards from Middle-earth!
Oooh.. I'm game for this..

Let's see now...
Sunrise from an elven balcony:

The beauty of southern Ered Luin and the elven architecture therein:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...rle/LOTRO2.jpg
A young elven archer (1,600 is young for an elf, right?) surveys the underappreciated beauty of Rushock Bog:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...rle/LOTRO3.jpg
A sig banner made from the above image for my kinship:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13.../SigBanner.jpg
This was an accidental beauty! I was reporting a floating object bug, then realized later how lovely the picture was, so I digitally removed the UFO:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...rle/LOTRO5.jpg
And finally, my archer seeks peace and solitude within the Last Homely House on the last night of the closed beta. All those baddies and that lag can be awfully tiresome!:

How do I "link" pictures to this forum?
Don't forget to "f12" before "printscreen"! Otherwise you may as well have your thumb in front of the camera!Last edited by JuanDeGeek; Apr 04 2007 at 12:41 PM.

Probably the most beautiful screenshot I've seen yet taken in game, taken by my best friend (during his 10 day free trial).. of me standing (yes standing) next to a waterfall, near Tom Bombadil's house..

I've been snapping like mad with DX10 enabled. Sure, all the middle-eye stuff is noticed like the shimmering shadows of leaves on the grass and on the walls of houses; I am posting one concerning the littlest detail as well as the awe:

Re: Postcards from Middle-earth!
Despite of my old age, I'm still new at this game, so I haven't seen so much yet. Although I was able to get an image that is currently my desktop wallpaper. It is just amazing:
http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/8...ot00023qt4.jpg
I also like this one, from when I had to kill that cursed man Amdir... It's always sad when we see such young people dying:
http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/9...ot00010ey7.jpg
And at last, but not least, this one brings joy to my heart. Always remember to cherish this great moments in life, specially in such dark ages. Is not always you'll have the time to feel the wind in your hair (well, if you still have hair) and feel the warm of sunlight:
http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/1...ot00025mg4.jpg
Ow, this is not such a great image, but with a little criativity can become a very nice postalcard. Or at least one of those funny birthday cards and such:

*Thanks Turbine for the awesome game! It's been a while since I had so much fun with a MMORPG.*
