For the slayer deed ones, is it the first level that's necessary or the advanced tier as well?

The advance, so really both.

That's not too bad. Considering how much stuff is required for the Moria and Loth ones, I'm surprised (and disappointed, since I already have it) they didn't include the Leaders of the Invasion deed from Annuminas in the Eriador meta-deed.

Annuminas already has a meta-deed, if you do all the Annuminas deeds you get the title "Warden of Annuminas"

Actually, looking at how they did the Moria instances and DN, I can see where you could make a case for needing the Annuminas meta-deed too.

The 2nd tier for this is (unfortunately) 50 trolls, not 20.

It should be noted that An Ancient Threat (Defeat Thaurlach) and Thorog Defeated (Defeat Thorog) are actually quests and not deeds. I've been caught out on some of my toons who have defeated Thorog many times but never bothered to pick up the quest and hence not having the meta deed increment. Will have to make some time to revisit that place to get the credit. Boo.

So, does anyone know if these steeds (the war steeds) have any particulars that make them better? like more morale? better armour? etc...

Same morale as a rep horse (150), same speed. But they do look sweet and having one of them (or all 3) shows what a hard-core completionist you are.

You don't get the completionist title till you have all 4 meta-deed steeds.

i think the saviours of annuminas -- the one that grants the titles warden of annuminas -- (slayers of the invasion) deed is still broken -- you have to kill sinadrain (sp?) -- and he doesn't appear to spawn. and thats the tier ONE deed. IF you have found a way to get him (and I have no clue how) then you need to do all the bosses from the annuminas instances...

I for one, am glad, granted the brokenness of this annuminas deed, that they didn't include them

OOOH... when and where? i've been looking for him for a couple of a months, to no avail -- my understanding has been he only spawns at the first camp, and only when that first camp is red; which is never. There's no way to "flip" the camp (drag mobs into it to kill the rangers) -- and i think they changed that mechanic anyway...

I'm going for the title as well and I've been looking for Siridan for sometime myself.

Today some kinnies and I went in to work on this and one said he read somewhere that others had the same problem and submitted a ticket on it and a gm would spawn him, so we did, they did, he spawned, he died and died again about 10 minutes later.

He wasn't at the Gwaelband control point either. He spawned east of there at the bonfire by the Angmarim fishermen.

That's his normal spawn site when the Free People control the hotspot, but it sounds like he is definitely broken at the moment.

Is there any further input into why some people have the Slug Slayer in CD completed, but many do not?

I know that some where believing that this was predicated by the Shire Slug Slayer,but I don't know that this was ever confirmed.

It is. I confired this by killing 100 of the little slugs (since that's what I read on here), keeping careful count, and when I dinged 100, all ready to get my fancy new war steed, nothing happened. When I read that I needed to have my shire slug slayer complete, I looked, and sure enough, I didn't have that one done. So I ground that out, and went back to CD, There are 14 slugs per run, if you have the key, and only clear the ones up the Helchgam, but not farther. After 7 runs, plus 2 slugs, I got my fancy horse. The big ones do indeed count for the deed, contrary to what I have read on these boards. So if you haven't completed your slug wrangler deed, look at your shire deed first, and if you haven't completed it, then go finish that off, then go grind your heart out in CD.

I counted 32 slugs a run. I was grinding out CD and didn't have my Shire deed done either. So when I went back, I already had all the locks. If you do the non-key entrance you get 10 there, plus 5 big slugs in the next room, plus a corner will drop 6 slugs on you. Then on the other way out of Helchgam, you get 12 more, 4 bigguns and 7 little ones.

Thanks for the great guide. Anyone have tips for "Find an Ancient Rune-stone" in the Dark Delvings? I've ran DD dozens and dozens of times and have yet to get it. It is the only one I'm missing for Moria.

This is an excellent guide, but I must ask the question. Is there a Meta-Meta-Deed? Like complete all of the meta-deeds and receive an even more awesome reward that might destroy the entire universe if it ever happened?

Of course, then there would have to be a Mega-Meta-Deed that outranked that... Hrm, seems likes too much trouble afterall.

I heard that once you complete all the meta deeds and every other deeds, including the Mirkwood ones, a portal opens to the event horizon of grinding where an infinite amount of grinding awaits til the end of time. I'm so close I can taste it...

@Shadowkidd, did you ran it and kill every boss? It might drop from Gurvan!

Edit to add: I know the numbers in () are not 100% accurate, I aplogize I keep forgetting to check them out, some numbers are from SoA :/

Oh yea, ran full clear many times. From what I've heard it might be a drop off of trash.

2 runes are dropped from mobs and 2 are picked up from the ground. I think the 1st one you can pick up is in boss 2 room and the 2nd one you can pick up is past the gate behind Gurvand that opens up after you kill him.

I have all the meta's completed on Pherenn; but then again, I have all 10s for ALL of my traits, and many up to 16. But I am not a completionist; I still have a few quests left in Evendim! lol

I finally got around to update my post with the CD/Uru kill count and I've also added the meta deed for Mirkwood. It wasnt a "new" deed at the time of the post but it is still a meta deed. There is no info at all in the lorebook but since then I completed most of them so I just need to do one final round of check.

PS: one of these days I'll find out how to transfer/write stuff in that lorebook, I wouldnt want to loose the info

Just did a run for the morroval deed and the shards (first time since 3.1...). I was told all the shards were before boss, but and the folks I was with didn't want to check down there. I got all shards except the Large Mirror-shard.

Anyone know where that is?

Could anyone tell me where there are orcs in Uru? All the other deeds in the SoA meta deed seem to be easy* relative to this one. Is there some trick? I've done Uru countless times and I'm not close to completing the slayer deed for orcs.

* Easy meaning running through the instances several times can get you near completion on most of the deeds.

Aye, pretty sure the last one is just before jumping to the last boss, where the orb is.

I'm afraid there is no easy way. I always thought it was bugged but apparently not so even thoughit says orcs when you hover your mouse over them not all types of orcs count towards the deed. It is a tough one to finish.
