Thread: Windfola is unique among all the servers. Do you know why?

A kinmate called my attention to this yesterday morning. He has an alt on Brandywine, and apparently Windy is notorious for...goat jokes.

You've seen them in GLFF, I'm sure...and quite possibly they're the reason many have GLFF turned off. Once a goat joke party starts, it's hard to stop it. They're usually in the form of movie titles:

"28 Goats Later"
"Goat Wars"
"Plan Goat from Outer Space" (I'm rather proud of that one, a bad movie made even worse by a goat joke title)

Yes, many of us are guilty, including myself and several kinmates. But hey, this gives us an edge that not even the highest population servers can boast of. I understand even the GM's are aware of this...phenomenon.

Nah, it's happened before, though never at the levels we saw it at this weekend. Makes me wonder if it isn't time to introduce a new global goat joke channel (GGJ).

I was there during the first one I believe, it was on OOC in Moria, a few months back. It started off so innocent. One person made a goat joke, then a second person hesitantly chimed in with a second. A third nervous, "Goat Wars"...and then a landslide. For a full hour the channel was filled with goat jokes. Every time it started to settle, someone would slip a goat in somewhere and it'd start up all over again.

BTW - It's really bad form to post multiple goats in one post. :/ Save some for the rest of us, yea?
