Thread: Accident

Hi all I wanted to let everybody know that my brother Gabriel (known as Gabies in-game) had an accident. He accidentally hit his head in his apartment's pool and fractured his neck. He currently has a lot of movement limitations. However, thanks God his spinal cord is intact though it did suffer some damage and it's a bit swollen. He had surgery today to replace his broken bone and everything went very well. He starts tomorrow rehabilitation so he can start moving normally again. The doctors cannot tell how well is his recovery going to be, but we're hoping and praying that it'll be 100%.

Any prayer or message to support him is highly appreciated since I'm gonna show him this post to see if that can cheer him up a bit.

Yikes, don't know who that is but of course no matter that fact I hope everything goes better than speculation will say. I'm sure everyone after this reply will agree "Our thoughts are with you".

yikes, that's terrible. I'm glad that there is a chance for a full recovery. I'll definitely say a prayer for him. Tell gabies to get better! NOW!

I've missed seeing him in game, and hoped he was doing well. I'm truly sorry to hear of his accident, but I'm very happy he's recovering, and wish that gets well soon and completely.

Well it's been already 2 weeks since gabies' accident and he is doing great in his recovery. He already started moving his left side of his body, on thursday he gave his first steps, and he's basically moving everything now just still limited. But the doctors say he's been doin great and he will probably recover soon

I hope Gabies gets better soon, I was just wondering where he was the other day.

I only have a couple of lowbie alts here for when Landroval is down so I don't think I've ever (knowingly) run into him but I hope his recovery is swift! I can relate to a degree. I fractured my leg in three places and spent four months housebound. LOTRO kept me sane that summer (there's only so much tele-commuting you can do...).

Sorry to hear about the accident, and it is great that he is doing well so far. Take solace in God's Word and that He is in control regardless of the situation. My prayers will be with 'Gabies' and his family.

Gabies came back like less than a year of the accident if I remember correctly. Still plays and gets on Apathy vent and I'm sure of Lotro Latino.

I can't even tell if you are joking or serious, but yea the guy that made this thread is my bro, and his forum name is Gabies!

The only people I know that keyboard turn are you and Tennis, I am even weapon swapping bc all the cool kids do too.

For those who asked for updates I know it was a while back but I am doing just fine now and still playing! and thanks a lot for the support and good wishes!
