Thread: Good 1v1 Thread

I'll preface this post with a warning: I haven't sifted through pages of firefoot pvmp threads, so I don't know if we have tried this out before.

I know these threads can be a ton of fun, and I'd love it if FF had its very own.

Post any and all fun/interesting/awesome 1v1s you've had in this thread as a shout out to your combatants.

I'll start us off...

I only solo, so I had a lot of 1v1s today, but a few that stood out were Helly, Remixadan, and Dathorar(spelling).

I had a nice 1v1 vs. Blasty.
It was a perfect exchange.
He killed me, and then died himself 10 seconds later to my DoTs.

I also ran into a Minstrel (Hanbrthorn SP?) or something like that.
We had an excellent 1v1 but I lost.
It was still nice and close which made it fun.

Lovi gives me the best 1v1's on his champ.

The first one I was just infamy depraved, so I used brand. My apologies for that its been a slow morning.

In the second one I started out of stealth and it was very close, but I just eeked out the win with a few lucky crits. More Lore-masters need to use tar, that makes for quite the fight lol.

After our second 1v1 I was standing there wondering if your dots would kill me, and I was about to walk up to you and /bow when all of a sudden wham-bam-pow, I was no longer alive.

I completely forgot about the eagle rezz haha! If I wasn't so comotose from having just woken up, maybe that wouldn't have happened, but it made for a great laugh hehe.

Necro is the only LM I've known on our server that can successfully pull off winning with the eagle consistently. I just can't give up my ISG or Ents for it.

Might have try it out some time.

Well, not so sonsistent anymore. I have probably given 260 renown to Adieu and 500+ to Zeator :P

Screenies are fine, but they have to be current.

I.E. No posting screens from 1v1s that happened a long time ago, and no flooding this thread with old screenies.

Nice 1v1 Zhandir. You are usually a pretty decently played minstrel, but your new kiting me through the bears tactic doesn't seem to be working out too well. I'd suggest you try a new strategy, unless you want to keep feeding meh.

Special props to Zhandir, you definitely have a very interesting strategy against wargs. I enjoy fighting you and with a few gear improvements and lvl 65, I'm sure you'll be a touhg minstrel to beat.

Fasha and I have had a ton of legendary battles this weekend. We sparred prob a dozen times. It's the beginning of a great rivalry .

My spars with Clieby embarrassed both of us.

I'm just gona say that those SSes of Clieby and Fasha look sick... that is all.

Thanks Adieu for the Special Props, althought today i really done some big mistakes, plus no potions at all, to keep up with the silence between spar and spar. Wargs are a pain, im getting fustrated trying to get a right strat to fight them, the only creeps i seem to be able to beat with ease are reavers or BA's (if i get enough close).

A few more good ones with Zhandir, you are getting better and better man, I just need to stop getting lucky 900 swipe crits.

You saw me taunting you from inside EC, while the other creeps wouldn't let me get in range to you, so you decided to move to xroads. Just like if you knew it, you did set a fire trap before i did move outside EC to spot you, very clever position also from that tree, you almost had me, blame my Lyric of Hammerhand that saved my ***.

I will never understimate a BA anymore, not you at least!

Havok is the real deal.
He followed me out of the EC and we had a nice spar along the river.
We both deaded.

He deaded first, so I teh win!

Fuzzyfeet - You're better then you let on. I took advantage of your lack of tracker-care or anti-stealthing. You should use those more often and you will have a better jump on your foe's... As for other hunters who track and do not follow they are just pestering warg's... as for me... I track to kill.

Adieu, good spar. you kinda got the jump on me tho... Lol... i didn't even have focus filled before you pounced in. but that's fine and good. I will just have to try harder next time!

About 1 in 10 tracking messages, if ignored, end up in a hunter actually showing up. It's nice to see the skill actually being used - it is the most poorly used skill on the moors as far as I'm concerned.

As for stealthing, I don't use it quite as much because I'm interested in fighting people that are interested in fighting me. I let serveral people just ride by today while others would stop and fight. It is interesting to see who wants a piece and who doesn't. I run from all burgs though.

The battle with you is the only close hunter battle I've had in awhile. All the other hunters have been very squishy. Even with manheal they just get tore up something fierce. It's great to have a nemesis that delivers the uncertainty that makes this stuff fun. I'll be bouncing around - probably near the crossroads tonight. Track me if you dare, cupcake.

Yeah well, still not what i am looking for though, its a lvl 60 LI, missing some of the must have mods, but doing much better (i guess you noticed), complete fail since i noticed i didnt even 'dot' you with blades..

It was interesting there were 5 other wargs fighting the freeps while me and silvathorn were fighting then the wargs ran away freeps chased them came back and got on me i hipsed they left and i kept on fighting. I WIN

i had some good spars against wargfoot and his daughter.
and then helly, raith and some warden interupted it

renamed loves to fight me 1v1 but for some reason he hips and runs off with sub 500 health. i dont blame him cause I AM OP. dont know why he wont take the death, not like he gonna lose any rating from my huggin butt.
