I would like you to meet the Kindred! The Kindred is an ever-growing family made up of people from different backgrounds, and gaming styles that share one common goal: fun! We are looking to expand our family further, but we need your help! We are looking for active people (both on our forums and in game), regardless of your subscription level, to join our adventures. The Kindred would like to also welcome all free to play subscribers!
We are a casual group of adults, that are not into hardcore raiding, but do like the end game challenge. We have positioned our Kinship to be in alliances to promote a larger community of gamers, as well as allow our members to participate in all aspects of the game. We currently have alliances with Light and Flame, and Heartseeker kinships, and we are part of the Windfola Alliance Charter, which is an alliance consisting of 17 great kinships!

Amarial, the famous director of the Kindred Chicken run (link in my signature) has used her talents and sense of humour once again to put together a recruitment video for the Kindred!
One of the funniest guys I've met in world, Kromlure is a great friend, great officer and always willing to lend a hand. He's hosted Chicken Runs, in game events, and always been there to be the comic relief in any situation!
Coen is a pillar of strength for the Kindred. Standing 6'8 in real life, he transfers this in game towering over the enemy and crushing his foes. I personally saw him finish off the last boss in the Forges of Moria whilst everyone was dead! A great friend, a great officer, and this gentle giant stands above most when it comes to his kind and helpful nature.
The Kindred recently celebrated their 2nd anniversary on April 18th, and I wanted to thank the community support, as well as the members past and present of the Kindred. This Kinship has come to mean so much to us, and we are proud to be here on Windfola!
Our previous leaders, Chargoggagogg, and Rainmyst did a great job laying the foundation for a great kinship, and although they aren't around anymore to share in this celebration, during this time, our collective thoughts are with you!
We have more videos in the works, as we have heard a lot of great feedback from many people so stay tuned folks!

Kyber has been a great asset to our leadership team! He is friendly, knowledgeable about the game and it's many classes and always helps our new people.
Gornanon or Gorn for short is a great asset to our Kinship. He brings great knowledge of the game, is excellent at his classes and is always giving people advice. Also, his attitude and sense of humour are always colourful, and it's always a laughing matter when he's around!

just a question, i applied a week ago to join and haven't heard anything yet. got in touch with a couple people in game to see if anything was happening. they were checking with leader but still no news. i don't mind if i don't get in but some word would be nice so i can look for another kin

Heya! Yeah I've been looking for Hanstan online, he's added to friends list.
I will add addlebryane to my friends list and try to touch base with you. It's not a matter of whether you get in or not, as we are welcoming to a large base of players, it's when we can get in touch with you. As a part of our process, all officers manage the applications and attempt to get in touch with the applicant for a very short but informative interview.

Do you guys have many players that are on late night/wee hours? I work 3rd shift so most of my play time is on my days off between 10pm and 6am CST, but sometimes earlier. I'm currently in a kin, but well... it sorta dissolved. I'm a casual player and don't take the game overly seriously - I quit a kin last year because the leader would throw fits if everyone didn't perform exactly as he thought they should and was rude to other players. I'd like to find some players willing to go back and go through the books because the people I started with didn't do a lot of them. Thanks!
Thanks for your interest in the Kindred! We do have a west coast group that do come on later in the evening, and a lot of us are night time players as we have families and lives. Won't see anyone usually from 3-6am, but some are on earlier in the morning as well.

Hey Yeah I am also a swing shift worker and I play mostly from the exact same time CST. I know we have a good base of west coast players and would look forward to playing with you if you decide to join!
theres a handful of us on until 4-5 am eastern most nights. I normally see 8-14 on at anytime of day though. We have a few new players also so about 5 of us leveling together with normally 6-8 65's doing instances/skirms. Very helpful and lively kin.

With free to play coming into full swing, there is a potential for an influx of new members across all servers. Free to play subscribers are welcome to apply to the Kindred via our website though the application link. On our website I have updated some information regarding the Kindred's official policies and procedures in our Code of Conduct. I have also added a thread in our visitor's forums for free to play subscribers.
I've played on and off since release, and would like to say that I really like the mindset of your kinship, I've seen some of your work (Chicken run ), over the past couple months, and look forward to the possibility of playing with all of you!

Forgive me for sounding impatient, as I realize that "soon" is a relative term in the eyes of the one stating it, but 3 days from the date that our applications were submitted and not one single message in game from one of your officers? I'm sorry but I'm beginning to believe that perhaps we made a mistake in applying for this kin.

Just wanted to write a quick note of appreciation to The Kindred for the wonderful camaraderie this past year (and for our many friendships of almost two years). In February, we will have reached our first year anniversary as allies, and I have never had a moment of regret standing with all of you both in battle, and in friendship.
To those of you considering this kin as your future home, I do not hesitate in saying they are honest, fair, thoughtful, fun, generous, and loyal. You will have found a wonderful kinship in the Kindred.
