The Meaning of Haste is now recruiting! Now that that other game, in a galaxy far, far, away has begun we feel all LOTRO servers are taking a bit of a hit as far as player base goes. We at TMoH are no different but we are truckin' right on through with the new LOTRO content and enjoying fighting the good fight of Middle Earth.
We are looking for good people & enthusiastic players to join our Hastie family. We would love to have people with a positive attitude, a good sense of humor and who know how to play their classes well join us. We are mainly looking for max level toons however we are very alt-o-holic friendly
We have kinmembers from pretty much every time zone so we do consider that when planning our raids and try to accommodate school, work, and family schedules as much as possible.
We have lots of casual players who concentrate mostly on crafting, socializing, and finding the ultimate cosmetic outfit. We have a solid group of raiders who are driven by a desire to master new content and enjoy the process of discovering how to conquer each raid, instance, and skirmish that Turbine can throw at us. We are currently scheduling Tower of Orthanc raids 2 nights a week in addition to many spontaneous 12 man skirmish and/or Draigoch runs. We also have Ettenmoors players on both Creep and Freep sides and do try to appease their thirst for blood from time to time as well!
All things considered we believe ourselves to be a well-rounded kinship that is looking to add some of the remarkable players of Arkenstone to its roster. If you would like to give us a try please feel free to contact an officer ingame or visit www.themeaningofhaste.net and drop us a line. We would love to have you join us on a run of something-or-other or just come hang out!
Officer Main toons: Bobion, Drover, Tibernoft, Arendal, Maiemarwyn.
Thanks guys & Cya out there!
<3 Maie

Founded in May 2007, The Meaning of Haste is a "mature" kinship that prides itself on experiencing all the content LOTRO has to offer in a semi-structured and fun loving environment.
We are on the lookout for good players and good people to add to our Hastie Family!
We are currently running the Tower of Orthanc, kicking some Draigoch tush & 12-man skirmishes in addition to as many 3 & 6 man instances as we can.
We have many casual members who concentrating on crafting, socializing, & exploring Middle earth in addition to a solid group of raiders who have a great desire to conquer all the content Turbine can throw at us and also a few Creeps & Freeps fighting the fight in the Ettenmoors to satiate their thirst for blood
We have kinmembers from all timezones and try to recognize this when scheduling raids or group events and try to accomodate work, school, and family schedules as much as possible.
After taking a hit like most of Middle Earth with regard to happenings in a galaxy far, far away we are looking to fortify our ranks with some of the excellent players of Arkenstone. If you are looking to experience content but have been playing solo or relying on the fabulous GLFF to join groups or if you are part of a small kinship that falls just short of having enough people ready to hit the new raids and large group content Haste is looking for you...yes YOU!
If you are interested in joining up with The Meaning of Haste please drop one of our officers or active members an ingame tell or shoot them a mail. You can also contact us at www.tmoh.guildlaunch.com We look forward to hearing from you and keep up the good fight!

Please contact an officer in game, you'll most likely come across Drover and his many Dro alts, Chenzhen and is many Chen alts, and Maiemarwyn/Bianka. If you cant catch us in Middle Earth feel free to drop a line on www.tmoh.guildlaunch.com
The Meaning of Haste: an Equal Opportunity Kinship
If you like stuck up and nerd-raging people, Haste is exactly what you are looking for!
Not a good start huh?
OK, lame joke...
I can't speak for everyone, but my focus is ToO on T2. We just need strong, dependable players. Don't consider yourself strong yet? No worries, neither is Kensibear but we bring him along anyway. Full disclosure: we are close to being at least Lightning T2 ready, but not quite. We need to get back to having a deep roster.
We also like to just group up for T1, Draigoch runs, and the 3 and 6 man Isen instances. You will rarely catch me turning you down to group up. If that works for you, give us a holler. SWTOR hit everyone hard, but we still have a decent number of members logging on regularly and not just at raid time.
Don't just sit around Galtrev watching GLFF, come on!
Come with an open-mind, have-fun attitude, willingness to learn, and you will fit in great. Oh yeah...and all that stuff Dro and Maie said as well.
The Meaning of Haste would like to thank Bobion for his wonderful leadership, friendship, and general awesomeness as the Leader of our wonderful kin and welcome Drover as our new Leader! You have some serious shoes to fill but we are all sure you are most up to the challenge!
The Meaning of Haste is excited and ready to move forward and prepare itself for fantastic things to come with Updates and Expansions now on the horizon.
We were founded in May 2007 and are a "mature" kinship that prides itself on experiencing all the content LOTRO has to offer in a semi-structured and fun loving environment.
The Meaning of Haste is now on the lookout for good players and good people to add to our Hastie Family!
We are currently running Tower of Orthanc tier 2 for people who enjoy more of a challenge, as well as regular T1 clears for people who are looking to get their feet wet or prefer a more laid back raiding experience.
We are still running Draigoch & 12-man skirmishes in addition to as many 3 & 6 man instances as we can. Also, on our calendar we schedule events to promote social growth and an atmosphere of fun including Ettenmoors nights, Nostalgia Nights, Deed grinding nights, etc.
Hasties come from all timezones and we try to recognize this when scheduling raids or group events and try to accommodate work, school, and family schedules as much as possible.
We want to fortify our ranks with some of the excellent players of Arkenstone. If you are looking to experience content but have been playing solo or relying on the fabulous GLFF to join groups you may want to give The Meaning of Haste a try. Also if you are a member of a small group or Kinship whose numbers fall just short of being able to tackle the larger group content offered please talk to an officer about merging with our Kinship and showing Saruman and his lackey's who's in charge here!
If you are interested in joining with The Meaning of Haste please send an officer an ingame tell or Forum mail on www.tmoh.guildlaunch.com. Officers you will most likely come across in Middle Earth are Chenzhen (and any combination of Chenz names), and Maiemarwyn (aka. Bianka, Rhyski, Buffleigh).
The Kinship rules you may want to be aware of right off the bat: 18 and over please, be prepared to treat others with courtesy and respect, be ready to kick some @&% Hastie style at the drop of a hat!
We look forward to hearing from you and keep up the good fight!
Also, Justin Beiber has the voice of an angel.

TMOH is still hunting for some good raiders to join the team. We've taken down Lightning challenge in the Tower of Orthanc. We'd like to push some more Tier 2s. That's where you come in
If you're interested in experiencing some of the more challenging content the game currently has to offer, send us a line.
If you're new to raiding, don't feel you're yet up to a T2 challenge or just prefer a more laid-back experience, we still beat up Orthanc Tier 1s, Draigoch, skirms, 3- and 6-mans ... even old school content every once in awhile.

TMOH is currently running ToO weekly, as well as Draigoch and other group content. We've beaten Lightning challenge and Fire/frost Tier 2.
We're planning on pushing some more T2 content. If you'd like to be a part of it, or just are looking for a laid back group of people to hang out with, check us out at http://tmoh.guildlaunch.com or hit me up ingame.
The Meaning of Haste celebrated its fifth birthday Sunday. We're proud (justifiably, I think) to have made it this far while still being very active and enjoying a solid reputation on the server.
Big salute to our former leaders, officers and members who have made this kin so terrific. And to our newer members who will be tasked with carrying on the kin spirit. And all the other kins launched in the game's first few months who are still chugging along.
Let's make year six our best ever!
P.S. Thanks to those who stopped to watch on our chicken run to Galtrev. To those who got swarmed on the way, I hope you took it in good fun. You can't control a chicken mob.
The Meaning of Haste is a positive goal oriented mature kinship blah blah blah....
We love to Raid and come prepared....
...sometimes...maybe alot of times....
....but somehow we managed to finish Smaug T2C and are now working on the other 2 skirmishes( I meant raids) on T2.
Our kin is very diverse...we have old folks, young folks, asians and real chics (they talk in vent and everything)
I am told they are recruiting and we could use a couple of folks...NO Hunters or Cappies!!...these are my mainish types and you might take my skirmish (I meant raid) spot. We NEED Champs...lots and lots of Champs. Mo shing shing means mo bettah...and I can pretend like I did some dpsing.
Pst Drover (officerish type) ingame ALOT...even if you don't want to join just Pst Drover and tell him "Q says hi"
The Meaning of Haste is looking for some raid ready players who want to tackle the current T2/challenge content. We are particularly interested in guardians, minstrels and a good burglar, but all classes are welcome to apply. Hope to hear from you!
