Hello all! I'm relatively new to LOTRO, and have been running around around solo for the past week, trying to figure out what I should do and where I should go.

Whenever I stumble upon someone out in the wilds of the LOTRO world, I try to be friendly and offer help, but get turned down due to my level or noob-ish demeanor.

This kinship seems like the place where I can learn to get more accustomed to the game, receiving advice from people who know what they're talking about.

If someone can direct me as to how I can join (I believe I saw something on the first page about application forms?), please tell me! Send me a PM here in the forums, or an invite in-game. I'm usually on my elf hunter "Aminduil" during the evening hours of US Central Time between 8pm and 1am.

I just wanted to say that I joined the Kin about a week ago and so far everyone has been very helpful and friendly. I love the fact that the Hammerfist clan spans multiple games and they have a great website/forum. They are more than a clan, they are a community. I'm not sure if I'd fit with your kin or not, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

I'm a middle aged casual gamer, that solos. I have some experience with grouping, but not with this expansion. I've been busy. I finally got a couple guys up to 75 (literally this month), and trying to group has become almost impossible because people only want experienced groups. The second I say I've never done this instance, I get ignored or dropped, or the group breaks up. Usually. I've actually completed one 3 man.

I'm looking to run 3 man and 6 man instances with either my minstrel or my captain. If your kin has anyone that would enjoy running with me, please send me a message. I'm not interested in raiding. Too many people for me. I'm not geared, but I'm working on it, so initially I'd need t1s while I learn and gear.

Additionally, I'm looking for a permanent home. I'm not looking to gear and drop. I haven't belonged to a large kin in quite a long time, but when I did, I was committed to the guild, and I've been an officer in a few of them, helping with running instances, and crafting. Also, I don't pvp.

I noticed, too, that you have a GW2 forum set up already. I'm hoping to play that in the future as well. I played Rift briefly, too. I was in the beta, and played for a couple months after launch.

I think Hammerfist will be a great fit for you. Their 3 and 6 man experience is to notch. The group is very helpful and patient and some of the best players I've had the opportunity to play with.

You can't go wrong with the HFC Lotro kin!

We're an adult guild looking for mature members age 18 or older. We're a social/casual guild passionate about our gaming. How you choose to spend your gaming time is up to you. I have been playing LOTRO off and on since 2007 (one of te benefits of having a lifetime account), and while I didn't really play much of Isengard (my main burglar is still only level 66), I got the itch to start playing again, and am looking forward to the Rohan content.

I am a business professional in my 30s who has occasional moments of free time during the day, but can generally be around for evening content during the week.

I will be running around as either Bandaband (lvl 66 Burglar) or Bothmur (level 16-18ish Guardian).

May I ask about which type is your kinhouse?

Hey guys, I'm a former member of HFC. I just returned to the game a couple weeks ago and my characters were removed from the clan(guessing due to inactivity). Life has kept me from having a lot of time for games(my daughter just turned one Sunday) but I'm trying to set aside a little time for LotRO. So far I've just been catching up on crafting and sorting through mats on all of my alts. It feels like a full time job lol.

I've also decided to kind of switch my focus from my LM(Sabuil) to my lowly level 31 Warden(Sabrid), so it will probably be a little while before I reach any end-game content. I think it's worth it tho, the Warden is just so much fun.

Anyhow, I was just wondering if you'd be interested in allowing me back in. I found the guild to always be very friendly and helpful, even showing an inexperienced LM the ropes in 6mans and such. For now it would just be nice to have some Kin chat on my screen instead of the silence I see now haha.
