not just how many posts...but how many posts from unique accounts....only 121 posts as i write this...and how many of those are unique?

according to Turbine...the number of folks who regularly pvmp is a very small portion of the total sub base.

in order for them to make something like this they need to know at least from an accountants point of view that they would make money.

and based on what they say i seriously doubt a pvmp expac could happen unless it also had a significant amount of stuff to cause the pve crowd to want to buy it also.

I'll not spend another dime on this game. Its PvMP is no where near enjoyable given that its predicated on nothing but CC rather than player skill.

Should LotRO ever bring melee back into PvmP vogue... maybe I'll spend more money on this game again... until then...

I'll just PvE in the Shadows of Angmar content and play my other MMO for skill based PvP.

Wait a minute. I only saw this thread almost by accident. I was looking at something else and happened to see it on the list, so I don't think the # of respondents is necessarily representative.

Put this in one of their main polling threads - that you see when you log into the forums, etc. - and you will get a much better response rate.

The op has the right idea. He is dangling money in front of their noses. Money talks in most places. If there are enough players who want this and are willing to pay $20 for it, then turbine should sit up and listen.

I would gladly pay for a meaningful PvMP expansion.

i agree however my point is...this thread isnt gonna doit.....

especially since according to turbine regular pvmp'ers make up a very small percent of the total base.

even if every single regular pvmp player bought it they would still lose money....making content is not cheap.

in order to make money they would have to put in enough pve content to attract the majority.

i see a pvmp centric expac maybe happening but not one that is just pvmp.

i would love to have a reason to resub my pvmp account...its been languishing since before moria.

We really need something new. Atleast something good for freeps, and some changes on creepside.

I would pay for a PvMP Xpac. Not sure how they would handle it if it wasn't a part of a regular Xpac. Do you deny those who refuse to pay for it access to the new zone? That would probably create a **** storm. Better to just roll it in with a standard Xpac and charge an extra fee if you want creepside mailboxes, new creep skins, certain freep rewards etc.

so...maybe in addition to a regular xpac....have an additional optional pvmp CReep Adventure Pack???

in all seriousness though an doing something like they did with SoM and the AP could work...

I'm going to post again and up my $20 to $21.

I'd pay for a new PvMP xpac, it needs to get more popular so more people will go and do it anyway
