So I have been leveling my burg, did the solo instance and saw a massive buff. I got an idea to see if it would work in my hunter also.. so here is a SS for all you

Did this book on my Hunter alt I leveled jut to experience the new LL, and I can say that that buff is pretty beastly. They were too lazy to redesign the old instances for solo, so instead they give you +450% morale, +350% power (not sure about that one), +150% damage, and it says that it "Increases regen rates" for in and out of combat. It doesn't give an amount, but my level 30 hunter had over 6k regen for power and morale in combat, and over 30K regen out of combat. Want to buy a bug where I can get this buff in the moors =P.

I get 10k HS crits solo, by myself. You need to use this to even get past 8k? Sooo cute.

Nice. But dude, you HS'd that troll for 8k and he is only down about 1/4 health and he has 2k max health? Whaaa

I just tried to complete Solo Retake Weathertop with a 25 loremaster, and got no buff. When I created a ticket, the GM told me it was already a solo instance so I got no buff.

Since when are 5 mobs on 1 player considered a do-able solo quest? Did they overreact and trash the buff?

Calling Orion, of all people, lazy is one of the most ignorant things I've read on these forums in a very long time.

I did it a few days ago with a 26 (or 27) LM and I got the buff. It was only for the last boss fight though, the trash mobs leading up to it was ok solo.

And about the ignorant thing... go jingle your bell or something.

If they're swarm, which I believe a lot of the trash going up the mountain is, since the beginning of the game.

You only get the buff when you get to the top not before

I went in tonight with my 27 Hunter and...

Killed everything really fast (too fast? ...), Rigul was dead, Troll was dead, all minions dead. The quest-giver guy walks in and says "You did very well.. Uhnn..." (or something like that) and sat down on the ground, in pain and...

Nothing. The quest-tracker _still_ said to defeat Rigul (he was already dead) and the NPC would not talk to me. After talking to a GM, I ended up having to Cancel the quest and do it all over again. The second time through, I moved out further into the arena (with the Troll, Rigul and minions) and... with 4-5 mobs beating on you, you are continually interrupted - I nearly got the snot beat out of me, but managed to move around a bit to get time to get some skills off and finally killed everything with very few hps left.

Anyway, I just wanted to warn folks about being too much in the open and also report the problem / bug of not being able to complete the quest. I'm "guessing" that the problem had something to do with me killing stuff too fast the first time (before some plot-point-trigger?) - either that, or my not being far enough into the arena.

How has this thread not been purged yet?

I just tried this solo today and no buff at all. Utterly impossible solo ... like a gnat's chance in hell!

I tried the quest yesterday and got that buff, over 12k hp with 31 guardian and about 700 hp with each blow, nasty thing I felt totally invulnerable

./16k HS's with BH/Bauble ftw, 40k in Saruman with Fire ring/Ob/Telling/To Arms.
