Thanks for the catch on that. Since your post, the layout for Herbalist has changed from text to a table, and the rank was corrected.
I saw the changes with the table layout. I also figured out how to edit the pages, so unless you mind I've been adding some of the minor things like ranks you didn't have and catching minor typos like that. If you prefer to do the edits yourself I'll continue to just post the stuff here since I know some of the training things seem to be duplicated on multiple pages and I might miss some things. I appreciate all of the work you have put into this project. The pages look great.
Don't worry, I don't mess with changing formats or anything major. That's more than I want to get into. Data entry and typo fixing is my limit.

I don't mind at all. In fact, I was hoping by putting it into the lorebook that others would fill in the gaps, since I've not been able to play as much as I like due to real life. As for the layout, I didn't do the change the herbalist section myself. I've actually sent a message to the person that did, since I'm unsure of how to do the tables, and don't want to mess it up.

Well, getting the initial organization and layout is the biggest part and I'm grateful to you for getting it started; it looks fantastic. I'm more than happy to fill in any gaps that I can as I build my soldiers. It's nice to feel like I can do something to help out a little.

Since the compendium is mostly hard data, this might not be the place for it, but what I would like to see is how each soldier role plays. Strengths/weaknesses, which skills are good and which don't really work, how they interact with the classes, and so on. There's already some of this in each player class sub-forum and of course all of the herbalist complaints and general "bug" threads. It seems like it would be unwieldy in any form, but maybe a thread for each role would be a good start. I'll have to see what's on the Lorebook already.

Here's a question... the game seems to allow you to level up your soldier above your own level. Does this increase the difficulty of the skirmish, or does it calculate the difficulty only based on the level/size/tier you specify when you create the skirmish?

The level of the skirmish is chosen by the player. Your soldier has nothing to do with that. Higher level soldiers only mean they have higher stats.

What Gildhur said. Everything is chosen before you enter, to include skirmish level and size.
However, just in case you didn't know, (if I understand it correctly) the price for leveling your soldier changes depending on your level. In other words, it will cost more marks per level if you level your soldier above you than on level. I don't know the exact numbers, but for example, if you are lvl 50 and level your soldier to 65, say it costs 100 SM. But if you are level 65, it only costs 80 SM. My understanding is that this is to encourge you to keep your soldier at or near your same level. At the same time, the lower levels for soldiers are a lot cheaper. This is why so many level capped people were able to level up their soldiers when they launched.
Is there a list anywhere of what each skill provides at top rank?
For example, I've heard for soldiers that +ICMR is better than +Morale but I'd like to check out the numbers before starting down one path or the other.

Has anyone made a table or chart or list of which leutenants appear in which skirmishes? From my experience, the dourhands dont appear in a lot of the skirms that i do, consequently they are the last leutenant type on All of the slayer deeds. I have run most of the solo skirmishes quite a few times and it seems to me that not all of the types go in each skirmish regardless of level/fellowship etc. If anyone has a link please post it!
Thanks
If you aren't completely appalled, you haven't been paying attention!
The is a website call : Casual stroll to Mordor, and someone there wrote a really good skirmish guide.
He has a breakdown of each skirmish, including which Lieutenent you can meet there.
Could someone tell me how do the chest rewards scale based on level of the skirmish please? I couldn't find it anywhere but I saw this mentioned on lotro-wiki. I am mostly doing solo skirmishes for encounter deeds, but if there's specific level (relative to 75) below which there will be say no IXP runes in the chest, I'd definitely like to know.
Many philosophical problems are caused by such things as the simple inability to shut up.
I had posted this in the Imladris forum, but didn't get much of a response so I thought I'd try over here. I'm currently doings some deeds in the High Crag area of the Misty Mountains. On my compass, it shows a Skirmish Camp on a mountain top above Gabilazan. I'm assuming this is a programming error? Or is this skirmish camp part of a quest chain that I don't recall? I did take a screenshot showing the SK arrow.

that seems to be a bug (or a skirmish camp was planned but never released). I run around trying to find a way to the camp but unless you cannot fly..
