At 65 you can max out (legit, not with empower bug abuse) about 3 legacies on a weapon, I think its the same for a class item. If you go to rank 8 instead, you can do 4. thats probably the maximized option (4 legs at rank 8) for most items.
What's that bug, how it works? How can I prevent me doing that?
Is there a way to move a legendary item from one slot to another? I had a number of items slotted, and picked a new primary weapon. I'd rather it be in slot 1 instead of slot 4 :-P
Drag the item from your bag into the slot you want on your LI panel. It will cause the two LIs to swap places.
(You will need to equip something else so that the LI comes off your character and goes into your bag. Then re-equip.)
That worked! I didn't even need to equip anything new, just dragged the sword from my character sheet to my bag, then into slot 1 on the legendary panel and re-equipped it. Thank you!
I've made a few updates on the guide (on lorebook, not here):
. added legendary fragments on deconstruction section, and inserted links for both legendary shards and fragments
. eliminated the exception about not having relic masters on Thorin's Hall and Rivendell (it was outdated)
. inserted the legend for ED (Echad Dúnnan) on titles/damage types section
. added a note about relics refunding when deconstructing a max level item
Cheers

im lv 35 right now and ive learned ALOT about legendary items from friends (in the game) and from this article. when you said you get one legendary item at lv 45 ive heard otherwise, a few of my friends got both a legendary weapon and a legendary class item. i wanted to know if that is true and if it applies to all classes. please respond thanks

This is a bit of a yes and no answer. In order to get your first legendary weapon you must complete a quest. Once you get that weapon, you will get an other quest to level it up to 10. The reward for that quest is your secondary legendary. Technically though, you could get the first one up to 10 while you are still level 45 and have both.
Not quite correct, you cannot hand in the quest that gives you your class LI until you are level 46, and if you can't hand the quest in, you can't get the class LI.
Late to the game [and far far from utilizing this info] but wanted to say thanks so much for all this effort. Tho sometimes it feels like I'm scanning Sanskrit with all the new terms and abbreviations I gotta learn!
So much I gotta prepare for. This will help!

I agree or let someone update it.
I posted my LI guide in this thread: http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.p...h-vol-3-book-3)
Kudos to poster of this thread, but my post holds significantly more info on how to work the LIs efficiently, where to get necessary ixp and relics and all that stuff. And is current with the current version of the LI system.
I love this Guide! i was pretty confused when to change my original legendary for a new one in Moria. I figured out by lvl 54 (although a little late). Thanks for all the help.
Just wondering about when I decon an item at 31, I get a legacy thing, how many of these can I put on another LI? Is it possible to put three (only a theoretical question mind!!) pool A's on an LI to get 6 pool A's? This is more a question about this mechanic in detail

No mate, you can only replace pool B with pool B but you can replace pool A with pool B, you could have 6 silver legs if you like
This guide is a general idea to help players understand and use the new Legendary Item system being implemented with the Mines of Moria expansion (and further expanded in the Seige of Mirkwood expansion). To have access to the Legendary Item system, you must have purchased the Mines Of Moria expansion and have also completed Epic Quest Volume 2, Book 1.
no, u dont have to purchase Moria expansion, its enough quest pack
Just to let you all know, I am working a new updated guide for RoR... I took a bit of a break from the game for awhile, so nothing ever got updated. Hopefully I'll have the new guide by the end of next week as I am basically doing a complete walkthru from the ground up, as information has become mixed an scattered between various things in the game.
Edit: I will also be redoing the barter guide with it as well, so please just bear with me on this.
