Thread: Another people looking for Kinship

I am a casual player that has been playing since Beta. I have a lifetime subscription but I have been playing LotRO a lot, because I was playing with a friend and I could not get him to play LotRO much. Apparently, the graphics is so good that it made him motion sick every time he played, but he did not tell me. Therefore, he would suggest that we would play other games and we did. I would play LotRO every so often on other servers and/or alts kind of waiting for him. Finally, he told me a couple weeks ago about the motion sicken when playing. Therefore, I decide to play LotRO on my own.

I have been playing solo for a couple weeks now. I usually play 2 to 3 nights a week from 8:30 to 10:30 PM PST. Sometime I play later in the evenings. I really like LotRO, but I have no one to talk to and/or help and/or be helped by. Therefore, I am looking for a small casual Kinship.

My main is a 26 level Champion. I know how to play him well with a groups and solo. I have been in 6 people groups and all the way down to duo groups. I enjoy crafting and helping others. I am not into PvP.

Just to be clear.

• I think about a small kinship is one with 10-20 active members
• I like to read the quests and the story therefore a kinship that will allow me to would be nice.
• A Kinship with some to all members that played between 8:30 and 11pm PST
• A Kinship that members act like laid back reasonable Adults… An occasional swearing or RL non-LotR rant is OK.
• I do like to do a little role-playing, but it not required. I just think it fun.

I have played other MMO. I have level 50 Tank on CoH/V. I have a couple level 65+ characters on WoW. I have a level 60+ EQ character.

I normally play 8:30 PM to 10:30 or later.

I got contacted by someone last night with a level 36 character and in a Kinship that only did level 60 stuff. they were also looking for a Kinship.

Hmm...maybe we can just start a Kinship.

To tell you the truth I really wanted to respond to you earlier but.....


I have one of those Kinships that sounds like you'd be a great fit for except for one thing....

The level difference.

Its VERY unfortunate that with the recent content that Turbine has been putting out level 60s just don't have as much free time as max levels did Pre Moria. Before Moria I was constantly playing with lower level people etc. I ran the occasional instance and the occasional Raid because I had already gotten everything I needed outside of Raiding. Now I'm afraid that most of my time playing is spent on the level 60 grind that doesn't seem to end. When I log on, I have this JOB to do to maintain my character and its annoying.

I do drag my level 30+ alts out when I get a chance, I really enjoy playing them (I have a level 35 Capt out in Evendim atm). I TRY to get out there and help the lower level people when they need to do some of the group quests and make a point to ask but I'm afraid that on a day to day basis.... lower levels are left to fend for themselves.

All we can do is provide some Kinchat, game advice, crafted gear and a day or two a week to help out with the harder stuff.



I do have to say that if you can find a Kinship that you like just join them and enjoy the company. Levels come faster than you think, PuGs can actually be fun and starting New Kinships is a bigger P.I.T.A then you may think.
