Pando Media Booster FAQ and info -Updated 9/17/2010
The downloaded installation here (also see the installing knowledge base article here) uses "Pando Media Booster" to download the installation files for installing the game.
The link below gives further details and answers many frequently asked questions regarding it:
Pando Media Booster downloads the files via the file "PMB.exe" and this file would need to be allowed through your firewall to both connect outbound and accept incoming connections.
It has a built-in connection tester, you can open Pando Media Booster via its icon in the Control Panel and click on: Advanced Connection Settings -> Test My Connection
If you are using any forms of "Download Accellerator" software disable these while Pando is downloading.
You may need to disable (temporarily) your systems antivirus programs 'active scanner' (Special note for Avast! users, you may need to "Pause" Avast's scanner by right-clicking its icon near the Windows clock, it can sometimes cause the downloader to stop responding to Windows).
Once the download has completed successfully and the game is installed, you can either disable** or uninstall "Pando Media Booster" (via the "Add or Remove Programs" (XP) or "Uninstall a Program" (Vista) control panel option). The downloaded game install files can be stored for later use if needed in a reinstallation.
When the installation download completes please see this reply here (bottom reply in this thread).
**Pando will, once the download completes, and unless otherwise directed by the user, continue to "seed" the files out which can use bandwidth. If you'd like to disable Pando (to prevent this) rather than remove it entirely this can be done from its Control panel option (Details here in the "How do I control Pando Media Booster's options?" section.)
If you have any questions or need any assistance with the download installation or the installation itself contact Technical Support here.

Before running the games installation please read this!!
One item of note, when the install download completes, you may need to temporarily "end task" PMB.exe (Pando's downloader program). The error you may see when performing the installation is rare but is "Error code 5" and is a "file in use" error when this occurs. In this instance to eliminate if Windows "locked" the setup files erroneously try the steps below, also "Bitlocker" users should disable that temporarily while installing as well.
Remember only do this if the installation download has completed fully!
Before starting the install press "Cntrl Alt Delete" and bring up "Task Manager". Switch to the Processes tab and look for PMB.exe (if you don't see it click the option below to "Show all processes"). When you find it click it and click "End Task".
Once it closes then start the installation of the game. This should prevent a rare issue where Pando is uploading the files while the install is trying to run instead of stopping the upload, and Windows may be causing file copy/write errors while installing.
