Does anyone know if there are light and heavy shoulders looking like those you get from all those random lvl 66-70 quests available anywhere else? I was stupid enough not to save any of them thinking they were common enough not to bother. The heavy shoulders look like real plate badass armour, and the light ones is pretty nice too.
I tried to kill some random mobs but that's probably hopeless. Sadly Ihave no other char to do the quests with ;P
Anyway, being just level 50, i don't have access to those fancy ROI gear, but this is my current travelling outfit.
I'm lvl 46 and cosmetically wearing some ROI gear. Get it from the AH, put it in your wardrobe and then continue to slot it in your outfit. Works like a charm.
Also check the rep vendors in Galtrev. There may be pieces on there that have the cosmetic you're looking for.
Checked Darzil but it's not there (as in they don't exist). Thanks for the rep tip, I will check that out! Other than that, I guess I'd have to level something up, lol.

This is an awesome overview.
But, since my english is not very good, and my understanding of the game itself is not quite high yet, I need some advice.
Let us say, my wife plays a level 60 elf-hunter.
The Armor of the great bow looks good, in her opinion.
Now, how does she gets it?
Moria Armour is obtained by trading drops found in Moria at a Hunter Trainer in 21st Hall in Moria.
Does that mean that she has to trade with her hunter trainer in the 21st hall? If yes, what is it, that she may trade for this armor? Reputation items?
I hope, you understand me, so far

[QUOTE=Tulkor;5749884]Thanks for the comment Cloudie-wan, I was quite happy to add some shoulders to that outfit finally. I really think they make it look better.
Here's some of my dwarves that I've been messing with. Not too sure about the middle one...
I'd love to know what you used for this cosmetic. (If the pics don't load correctly, it's the first picture you loaded with the green cloak. Looks fairly simply but also pretty cool.

You need to get those Medallions of Moria, which are obtained by doing Moria instances. The medallions are found in boss chests. The shoulder and helm pieces are exception to this, because they specifically drop in the Watcher instance.

Thanks for your explanation. So all I (we) have to do is to go through some of the Moria instances and get those medaillons?
Now, I think I understand what it is all about those big instances, which are way too hard for two or three people. Some of those instances are also part of class specific quests, so we have to do them anyway.
Thanks!

Man, is any of this cool RoI stuff available as BoE drops (that could be aquired via trade or on AH) or are they all BoA quest rewards? I'm the game's slowest player for sure, pre-order founder, own all expansions, and my highest character is level 34. Want some of this awesome RoI stuff for outfit tab, but the crafted stuff I've found on the AH is fugly...giant fur shoulders...chainmail miniskirts...no thanks...but the strappy leather/chainmail hauberk things I've been seeing are awesome.

Almost all of them are quest rewards or from the faction vendor.

I have found many of these items also drop (as BoE) in various "other yellow forms" from humanoid mobs in Dunland. They're not called the same thing, but they are the same pattern and dye the same as the items found in the epic questline. Personally, there are only a couple of robes that I have not been able to find in yellow drop form.
The problem is that for those of us out there at 66+ killing mobs and collecting the yellow clothing drops, we are either vendor trashing them for coin, or tossing them while questing to make room for resources, materials, rewards.
champ outfit, using T7 crafted hauberk. i'm so sorry it looks so stupid on most other characters, especially dwarves - it would be a great cosmetic otherwise.

Well that's nice to know I guess, thanks. I check the AH daily hoping to get lucky but the only lvl 66-75 stuff I seem to find is the fugly crafted stuff, or stuff that has the same appearance as stuff that's been in game since launch.

yes, the hunter trainer in the 21st hall is the provider of that set if I remember correctly. To obtain it all you have to do is gather a group of players and complete the instnaces inside moria, the major ones such as the grand stair or the forges. Certain instances and the quests within them will provide you with the tokens you want, the tokens will either be obtained from looting a chest after fighting a boss or from finishing the instance and the quests completely. If you have never been into any of those instances you should bring some people along that have and are willing to help you get those tokens.

I killed dozens of mobs and not a single armour piece

I have a ton of favorite outfits by now - Removing the restrictions on the wardrobe has been pure awesome for me.
My Champion, Alberik
I was trying to go for a heroic but also cheerful look to celebrate that I finally got out of Moria and could start questing outside again. I'm quite happy with how it turned out so far, but I am continually on the look for better pieces to add to the outfit.
Head: Traveler's Hood, Rivendell Green (Store) Shoulders: Glavroleth's Boon, Gold (Quest Reward) Back: Swan Cloak, Rivendell Green (Store) Chest: Ríanham, Gold (Quest Reward) Gloves: Reinforced Westernesse Steel Gauntlets, Umber (Random world loot) Legs: Defender of the Twenty-First Hall, Gold (Quest Reward) Feet: Boots of the Eorlingas (RoI Digital bonus)
My Captain, Arnhelm
Such a simple outfit, with most of it being bought from the various vendors in Thorin's Hall. Nevertheless, it remains one of my favorite outfits.
Head: Circlet of Man Shoulders: Quilted Shoulder Pads, Navy (Vendor Item) Back: Swan Cloak, Navy (Store) Chest: Dwarf Quilted Shirt, Navy (Vendor Item) Gloves: Dwarf Leather Gauntlets (Vendor Item) Legs: Dwarf Quilted Pants, Navy (Vendor Item) Feet: Dwarf Leather Boots, White (Vendor Item)
Aaand looks like I'll have to make a new post for my next outfits.
For some reason, it's really hard to find clothing items that aren't flashy. I wanted my burglar here to look as "nondescript" as possible, able to blend in to a crowd easily, and to look unencumbered and fast.
Head: Nothing Shoulders: Shoulders of the Helmingas (RoI Digital Bonus) Back: Plain Cloak, Burgundy (Vendor Item) Chest: Fine Radiant Armor, Black (Crafted) Gloves: Gloves of the Helmingas (RoI Digital Bonus) Legs: Quilted Leggings, Black (Crafted) Feet: Boots of the Eorlingas (RoI Digital Bonus)
Mogan, my Runekeeper
Inspired by the "White Dwarf" (the mascot for the Games Workshop magazine), I wanted to keep his colors bright and cheery. Most of this outfit can be bought from vendors.
Head: Scholar's Hat, Gold (Quest Reward) Shoulders: Tattered Cloth Shoulderpads, White (Quest Reward) Back: Golden Tree Summer Cloak, Sienna (Festival Item) Chest: Dwarf-Make Hauberk, Gold (Vendor Item) Gloves: Tattered Dwarf-Make Cloth Gloves, Sienna (Quest Reward) Legs: Not Shown Feet: Tattered Dwarf-Make Cloth Shoes, Sienna (Quest Reward)
Winter Outfit: I love Forochel, and the armor you can get there is pretty cool looking as well. I wanted to make a warm outfit for my little lore-master here, and decided to go with as much fur as possible. Siddhue isn't actually high enough level or rep for this yet, but one of my other characters are, so with the help of the wardrobe, she gets a cold-weather outfit.
Travelling Outfit: Siddhue's normal travelling outfit is very much a one-color deal, originally made to match her blood-raven. I liked the color red for her though, so I made it a theme for her instead.
Head: Traveler's Hood, Red (Store) Shoulders: Elven Cloth Shoulder Pads, Crimson (Vendor Item) Back: Map-Maker's Travel Pack, Umber (Store) Chest: Robe of Viisaus, Red (Quest Reward) Gloves: None Legs: Not Shown Feet: Soft Leather Boots, Umber (Cosmetic Vendor Item)
That's really nice looking. What pieces did you use?
Well lets see.. Boots are champion 3-piece DG set, Berserker or whats-it (same look as champ DN set I believe) Chestpiece & gloves are dunland quest rewards, helm is from an Angmar quest, Hrimbar or something, think it's avaible in the store as well. Shoulders are heavy crafted.
outfit created based on reader's wish and remotely inspired by eomer's battle garb. please note that this outfit is very similar to one already published on lotro stylist blog, so i don't consider it original by any means, but if you read through the process of outfit's creation on my blog (linked below), you will see how many different customizations lead to it (and maybe find some inspiration even from initial designs ).
There's a reason they're called 'sylvan shadows'. When you're taking on an entire squad of orcs with little more than buckler and a sharpened stick, it helps to use a bit of guile. They may have the road, but you have the trees, the hills, and nimble feet.
... of course, some times, it just can't be helped.

I'm not sure it's wise to ogle a woman with a javelin and good aim.
As with most female tops, the shirt has a rather plunging (if narrow) neckline, just enough to show that little hint of cleavage. With the angle and the shading, it pops a bit more than usual.

What if he's role-playing a peeping-Tom hiding in the canopy?

The Lancer's Hauberk dyes well in almost all the colours, and the richer and brighter the more spectacular it looks.
But the chainmail that's part of it is a grey element that I've not seen made use of, so I focused my dyes and armour choice on bringing it out a bit more, particularly as the Song-Caller's Hat and the dark chest and shoulders of the Hauberk are a very uniform colour, fitting together well.
Indeed the Song-Caller's Hat's neck ties up beautifully with the yellow in the Hauberk, something I hadn't expected when faffing about in the wardrobe. The boots and Gloves are Isengard based, as is much of the cool stuff, but the Gloves are washed rather than dyed.
The pack seems to suit the practical nature of the outfit, offsetting the rather plain back of the Hauberk with an understated design fitting the more muted lines and less 'shiny' type of apparel on show.

The lovely old Collector's Edition cloak, the Cloak of Easeful Thought, had always been a challenge the few times I'd been creating outfits in the wardrobe, so I thought I'd have a good crack at finding something to suit the yellow and actually quite awkward-to-colour-match reddish brown pattern and detailing.
When I got the Shining Quilted Shirt dyed gold it set me up for the rest, as the dye got a good orangey tinged yellow that matched the cloak fairly well. Having also recently been able to drop non class suitable items into the wardrobe, the wonderful War-Captain's Boots with the nice gold detailing front and back also finished it off in a broadly crimson ensemble. Ditto the Circlet, the natural gold and Crimson dye also tying in well with the shirt and cloak. I struggled to find good shoulders that complemented the cloak where it fit with the neck, so have left that for the time being.
To the pro stylists out there, is there a long sleeved version of the Shirt, because it isn't the same skin as the Radiant crafted shirt, it was a random mob drop from somewhere pre level 40.

There was someone looking for how to get a Lancer's Hauberk recently on Windfola, but it seems to not exist on my server. Is it a specific preorder item, possibly limited to European servers? I've seen it when playing on Bullroarer, but no one seems to have one on Windfola. Would you mind please describing it's providence?

great outfit, and i love how it goes with the cloak!
the long-sleeved version is called Jacket of Might and it's a world drop (same as the short-sleeved version you used). i used mine (borrowed from hymne a looong time ago ) e.g. in this outfit:

Also trying to get some boots that look like the Boots of the Charging Stag (Trum Dreng quest reward) becasue I unfortunately didn't chose that reward and I can't go back and get it. Does anyone know of boots that look like it?
Other toons (Elendilmir): Lorespark Man LM, Sparkness Dwarf RK, Bowspark Man Hunter, and Leadspark Man Captain.
Hello cosmetically interested fellow players! I found the picture below on the Loremasters forum. It's an old picture and the owner is no longer playing so I cannot ask him for information. What intrigues me is the cloak in this picture. I have never seen it before. Does anyone know what it is and where it comes from? Would appreciate any info. Thanks!!
This is screenshot is not mine, nor is it my character. I am reposting it to see if anyone can help me find out what cloak this is!!
