Thread: Returning Player looking Casual/Social Kin

Hey everyone,

I recently quit WoW due to complete burn out on the game. I am getting back into LotRO as a more casual experience but as everyone knows this is a MMO and it is more fun with people. So, I am looking for a social and casual kin to get back into the game and get used to it again.

I remember some people from back in the day that look like they still post on here.

I have a 44 Burglar named Pokepoke, a 20 Captain and a multitude of lower level toons. I have been playing around with Runekeeper and a couple other classes.

Any kins looking for a guy just looking for a place to chill, hit some instances, and level up characters?

Also as you can see I used to be in the Revenant.

I would like to invite your consideration of the Bastion of Hope. A small kin, growing and aiming towards eventually being able to do some raids and instances. Currently focused on crafting and helping each other move up through the ranks. We recently aquired our kin house in the bree land homesteds. My toon, Aldekim, will be on evenings this week to answer any questions you might have. We are certainly more casual than top end oriented. (as proven by the fact that we do not have enough high end members to do 6 man runs of the end game stuff yet)

We are extremely social and fairly casual we have quite a few players around your level and just getting to your level so you won't have too much trouble finding groups. We don't always have instance runs going, but we commonly do. We are also part of an alliance of kinships in case the people in our kin alone aren't enough to get groups and/or socialize.

There are lots of good kinships on this server so good luck, if your still searching. If you already taken, I hope you have found the right kinship.

Well I hit 45 last night, probably hit some of the people who have responded in this thread with some tells later tonight. I am also hoping that whatever kin I join, someone could give me a run down of what has changed since beta/launch as I was a bit lost last night with the changes to the interface. Mainly the legendary traits (I had collected all of my books before I quit, just need to collect the pages).
