On Evernight one from way back was "warm brown socks" a reference to a Goon joke - (the Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe, Spike Milligan kind not those muppets in space )
One currently is "Hamsters con mal leche" - which I think is "Hamsters with bad milk" - just makes me go ###? - Must be a spanish thing.
There's another that's in elvish I can't remember but it looks cool - if unpronounceable.
I must plug (sorry) my guild name from wow "Novak and goode" which only works when said aloud quickly another spike milligan classic.
Radix Lecti <- sounds fancy but its latin for couch potato
The problem is, that this translation into Latin isn't really correct. Radix is a root like that of a carrot. Potatoes are rather bulbs (tuberi, hence the biological species name 'solanum tuberosum'). As the Romans didn't know that there is an America there, someone had to create an artificial name for the potato later on, and it became a pomum terrae (fruit of the earth) or patata. So the proper guild name would be patatae lectibus.
Last night I saw one named "Just out for a Stroll"
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"
Civ II rules after all these years......
On the German server Maiar I see every now and then a member of
Zwerge die auf Ziegen starren
(The Dwarves Who Stare at Goats)
Lol! German kin names can be fantastic. On Imladris, I have seen members of Die Zwiebelfreunde around a few times (which translates to The Onion-Friends). The members I've seen all have "Zwiebel" or "onion" somewhere in their character name too.
Glirithil, Mini / Mirrie, Guard / Leohtwyn, Captain / Calanor, LM / Lothmíriel, RK / And more!
This #### is hilarious. Major props to all the creative thinkers.
On gladden ive seen some good ones. Some unfortunately i cant remember
The Bad Axes
Michel Delving Octet (was a hobbit mini kin that didnt last very long)
Dork Rising
Misty Mountaineers
Brohirrim
And there is one with skorgrim in it but cant remember it.
I'm in Crickhollow, and there are some ODD ones! there are also some hilarious character names. I saw a character named anceparty, Daughter of Bleedingllama, and I almost fell out of my chair laughing. :P
Thanks to those mentioning "Not all who launder are washed" :-) We were started as a small n00b kin loosely affiliated with "Not all who wander are lost", so the pun had to be done!

My favorite kin name I've seen on Crickhollow so far is "National Balrog Association." I wonder if they have their own blue and red logo with a white silhouette of Gandalf in the middle...
