I haven't heard why, but I really want them back too. This thread won't be nearly as good as it could have been without them.

It doesn't have the curved blade on the end that I (vaguely) remember the elf sword having, but it is still one of the most beautiful swords I've seen in game. It will be hard to put it away if/when I get a weapon with better stats! (come on first age mace)

If the stats are decent keep it, if their not still keep it, wear when your just running around and not really doing anything you'll need the better of the two for.

The legacies are great for soloing (+ballad damage, +call of orome, etc) and since it is a second age it has higher DPS than a third age. And I have the handy dandy elven sword bonus slotted. The only reason I'd like a mace is for the higher top end damage and the stun chance. Then again, these days with pewpewpew ballads and the atomic wedgie of death (call to fate) who needs to actually *use* their weapon? ^_^
