When I chose the Warden to play it appeared the warden could excell in more than one path of development. Not necessarily the best at any, but near the top in either damage, defense or CC.
The posts I see now appear to suggest that the wardens only role is, was and should be defensive... guardian in nature.
Too bad Book 7 condemned us to be a one dimensional player.
Solo, your build setup is free to be how you like it. DPS is great for short single target fights. Defensive is great for long multiple target fights.
Group, you're a tank or secondary DPS. Defensive with threat bonuses if you MT, damage and threat if you offtank, and damage if you DPS. The only one forcing you into a hole is yourself.
STROZZAPRETI 10/X6|RIGATONI 8|GNOCCHI 7|MACCHERONI 7|RAVIOLI 6|FUSILLI 6 ASTERIX|CHARAKHA|KHAGATAI|VORO RIP Nidor, we miss ya.
Isn't this the same guy who recently made a thread about how Turbine has taken his heart out or something, without any elaboration whatsoever?
This is his second post so it's probably the same guy. He fails at trolling, mainly because nobody here knows what posts he's talking about. If you're gonna troll, try to be less blatant with the lies.

Its just sad that people try to get this kind of thing going on this board. I wonder if they realize how hopeless thier cause is.
QFT. All threads are derailed. It is unavoidable. It is their destiny.
Vipe, you know, there's no point in trying to start another thread this your complaints. It's not going to survive anyway, so you might as well try to necro your other one.
Wardens are walking CC, we lock down the mobs while the rest of the fellowship beats the tar out of them. Who needs 30 second roots when you have a warden.
Simply put Turbine has taken the heart out of me and my warden. I loved playing the class to 60.

What have you been reading to draw these conclusions and who are you? Talking about Warden CC leads me to believe that you have no idea what you are talking about. Whats the name of your lvl 60 Warden toon? I'm not sying your a troll but...walks like a duck, talks like a duck....

Best House in the game is 1 Roaring Road, Thorin's Hall. Deluxe House, right by the door. TH isn't as great as it used to be, but it's still the closest to it's stables. I got my house originally because TH was one of the only places with a Superior Workbench and a Superior Forge relatively close to each other, at least until Forochel (if you have Lossoth Kin.)
I wish they would change the dye scheme for the radiance gear. No matter how you dye it, the general color is still the same as every other warden. And THAT is what makes a cookie cutter warden.
Nightmares - 30 Hobbit Warden - Riddermark
Endaa - 65 Man Warden - Brandywine
Enda - 65 Hobbit Burglar - Brandywine
Suvi - 65 Elf Hunter - Brandywine

The problem is you are trying to 'cut a cookie'. That means you buy the already made cookie dough in a tube. This tells me, not only can't you play a Warden, you can't even bake good cookies.
heh, I like my house, for location, in Thorin's Homesteads, right at the juncture of the road from the gate and the road to the vault. It is just a normal house, but location wise, it is perfect!
Well, we have managed to drag our Dev down into the mud of insanity with us. I am ashamed for the entire Warden community and our thread de-railing non-sequiters. That being said, Its cold here when the wind blows in from the east.
