Re: Helpful Links & Threads STOP HERE FIRST -Sticky!
Does seem strange the lack of stickiness....errr rephrase that...sticky posts *sighs* that doesnt sound much better oh well....in the warden forum. Other class forums have wealths of information stuck so why havent we?

Ah but I read that Rule and from wat I see it hasn't been broken. The entire sub-forum is chatting in here just happens to be the word bump that is being discussed
Minus the times I post to say I updated the list

In another game forum that I was a member of for a few years, the way to get things stickied there was to "report" the thread, but in the report text request that the thread be stickied instead of locked/deleted..... not sure if that process works here.
Re: Helpful Links & Threads STOP HERE FIRST -Sticky!
This wonderful thread has been stickied. Most folks send a PM asking for their thread to be stuck. We were not ignoring you just didn't realize the thread was here.
Re: Helpful Links & Threads STOP HERE FIRST -Sticky!
Well this one is straight up lol:
Good Job Lt.Diablo! and thanks Clover for noticing,
although many posts here were very helpful when I started this was the frosting on the cake and I know it will serve many others who follow in my footsteps as new wardens. Thanks to the community for the leg up . . .
Re: Helpful Links & Threads STOP HERE FIRST -Sticky!
I appreciate the intent of this thread, but I didn't find it to be particularly useful. It seems that 75% of the links go to threads that the 3rd or 4th post is "Learn to search. . . this other thread has the info you're looking for" with a corresponding link.

Not entirely sure what your talking about, but please next time actually look at the threads instead of assuming. I just wasted the time going through every single thread on the list and found ONE that even came close to what you said and even in that thread they still answered the question of the OP as well as posting a link to the other thread.

That's odd unless you have pared them down since the last time i tried to use it because I went 3/3 before I gave up. I'll take a look. Sorry for the assumption/exaggeration. Was not my intent to waste your time or anyone else's.
*edit* I'm about halfway through the list and I've found several that suggest there is a better/older/more accurate source of information. One of my original 3 I discovered I misread -- the reply was to someone other than the OP.
Maybe part of the issue is a difference of opinion as to what is the better source of information.
Still these three don't seem to be particularly vague so I'm not sure how you only found one:

Since I just did it, I'll give you a hint...there are only two threads that come up and one of them has the information you're looking for.

Re: Helpful Links & Threads STOP HERE FIRST -Sticky!
I did read all three of those, but you must bypass the first post or two here in the Warden forums. All questions are answered in the threads on the first page. Might not be the first post or two because we are "Search Nazis", but they are answered. As for suggesting there is a better source of info, that may be true, but when I added the links I went back five pages before the "pruning". Some of the "better sources" likely no longer exist.
Also I apologize if I came off as rude, it has not been a good day; stupid fever :/

Fair enough. I'm just the type that thinks experience > first hand account > second hand account. . . etc. Was just frustrating for me when I first started looking for info and assistance on the Warden and see in the sticky "look in the sticky". Felt like I was spinning my wheels. Didn't help that I LITERALLY went 3 for 3. I just walked away thinking I might as well just use the search function myself.
Btw, I didn't think you were rude and I didn't mean to be. I just didn't want to be perceived as a whiner -- for lack of a better term. You've already put way more work into this than I ever would. Unfortunately, it just felt convoluted to me.
