I'm back to the game after a lengthy absence though never really did play that much, giving it a look see, and spending a decent amount of Turbine points. (more than I should really but it is so easy )
I started a hunter and just completed the class quest for the class trait that improves this skill.
But I didn't have the skill, so I checked the trainers, no, no skill. Then had to come on to the forums and figure out what was going on.
Good skill or not, the fact this skill has been misising this long make me question the kind of job the devs are doing. Not a great impression for someone new to the game. Make the devs seem to be either non existent or incompetent, neither of which inspires me to invest much time here.
So
a) I got to waste my time tracking down what the deal was with the skill after completing the class quest for the trait to improve it.
b) It doesn't inspire a lot of confidence for a new player to see it has been missing for months.
I can't think of any other MMO I have played good or bad, that would simply just have a missing skill for months. Bugged skills sure, but missing? with a class quest to get a trait for one?
OP is about the skill description missing from the Lorebook. It still is, but who cares?
You are talking about the Earthborn trait, which improves the Strength of the Earth skill. You will be able to train Strength of the Earth at level 42. Yes, it's silly that you can earn the trait before you can earn the skill. Things were rearranged a while ago. No, it's not missing from the game. /bug it if you want to help.
