So, during a SPECTACULARLY MASSIVE bout of lag in DN the other day, I got some nice screenshots of Honeymilk doing her awesome Wardeny thing.

She's the little one poking the boss with the big stick.

Is the rk with the red eye afk?

Naw, when I say MASSIVE LAG, what I meant was that my entire screen locked up as I lost connection with chat and apparently other game servers. Basically, I saw everything all the other players were doing in one second looping. I could change camera angles, take screenshots, and rotate my character, but I couldn't move, perform any actions, and could only talk in vent. This happened to me and five other people in my raid, too, as the server hiccupped and bad things happened. Of course, we wiped. In many other boss fights, having a person or two go linkdead wouldn't cause a wipe, but when someone going linkdead gets the eye and must run but can't... yeah. And when half the raid goes linkdead? Wipe.

On the other hand! Good opportunity to take action screenshots, right? Right!

This happened when half my SG group went LD in the middle of gorothul.

this is strange, I thought it was only firefoot but it seems this has been happening to everyone a lot lately, maybe they're upgrading some software/hardware for the servers before f2p? I sure hope so b/c it would suck to get that extra population and lag ALL THE TIME.

My guess is that the lag is coming from modifications to accomodate the beta testing.

Been playing some low level alts a lot recently (dang but minstrel is fun...) but have still found some time to play my wardens.

Somany has been finishing off odds and ends of quests and deeds in Mirkwood, such as warg killing, spider slaying, sorcerer smacking, and undead removal. The spider slaying served the dual purpose of working on the deed plus scoring her a Compendium of Middle Earth Vol. 2 to make a relic for her latest new LI.



I ran Snoww through Vol.3 Book 1 earlier this week. Here's her and her archer Pengweadh having a disagreement with trolls in the rift skirmish:



And with the festival going on she's naturally taking the time to relax a little in other ways:
