Says the guy with the store-bought name, running around with Stun Immunity 24/7.

    Re: the good 1v1 thread

It's just my opinion but bought skills for low ranks these days (maybe it was different a year or 2 or 5 ago) are needed, unfortunately.

If things were more balanced and lowbie Creeps could survive in the 'moors (like say, lvl 55 minnies) then I would agree with not needing skills from the store... but let's not sh** ourselves, it's a struggle for even the higher ranks.

So again, if you can point out exactly how Freeps are disadvantaged from store bought skills then maybe i'll change my opinion but until then... I'm not buying it. You can out DPS/heal/CC/ect.. we're just TRYING to survive 90% of the time.

But coming from someone who has used the bridge pillar exploit... don't be surprised if no one cares about your woes.

But... did you not get fully focused, burn hot and then spam Improved Pen Shot? You know better then most the power of that combo so...

Oh and one other thing... the spam tracking: Enough already! If it continues the way it has for the past week or two a Warg pack will be put together and you or whomever it is that's doing it will end up being targeted NONSTOP by the same group of Wargs. If you've never had this done to you, trust me... it doesn't look like a whole lotta fun. So consider yourself warned.. and please spread the word to your fellow Huntards

Tracking to see who's in the area is fine but when my screen says nothing but "You Feel As Though You Are Being Followed..." a line has been crossed, IMO. And instead of logging off (as has been the case) I will revert to a 14 year old boy (sorry Metal ;p) and take pleasure in seeing that poor Hunter (whomever he or she may be) try and leave the rez circle... again and again and again. Until that individual gets it through their thick skull that it might be time to settle down with the relentless tracking.

The same applies to Wargs. There is no need to even track someone unless they're either running away or turtle'd up in a keep. Why in Gods name would I want to tip the player off that i'm in the area? It's a 2-way street and I would encourage you or anyone else to try and do the same to get that person to ease up with the tracking.

    my .02

p.s.. good fights yesterday Arm and Gil.. kind of a weird spot but it didn't get interrupted so it was a win. I kept popping myself outta Shadow Howler by accident and unfortunately for me... it usually equals certain death. Not sure why that 1st fight was so even, Armitas... perhaps I need to consult Adieu and Snuke on their Cappy techniques =)
I learned just a few days ago that standing on the pillar might be a bannable offense, I corrected my behavior since. Personnally, i think i got killed more often form there than i killed a creep. And about the tracking thing, last time I tracked you is when you were doing 1v1s with me and zerok and the day after. (2 or 3 weeks ago) When I go on hunting, I usually track the closest creature. I know what being spammed track feels like, trust me.

If that's the case then I'm sorry for singling you out.

It's a shame everyone can't see when a Hunter or Warg tracks someone, on their respective sides that is. Then maybe a Vet would step up and tell them to relax with spam tracking the same person over and over... anyone that has had it done to them knows what a PitA it can be.

I'm gonna untrait Enhanced Sense Prey and just go back to using the Hobbit Tracking Tokens from the vendor... unless I'm in a group and they need me to track stealth'd Hunters. But IMO, the 90m isn't really worth it when a Hunter is tracking stealth'd Creeps from 120 or 140m (not sure how far it is.)

Gil.. good fight at GTA yesterday! Probably the longest 1v1 I've had so far... shame more fights don't last longer =(

I dont like store bought skills for one simple reason those long time creeps well before myself EARNED their rank/skills and i find it a slap in the face to them period, thats just my view on it.

Store bought brands/health regen pots are for garbage players who couldnt fight their way out of a paper bag and once again my opinion

Bottom line earn it , dont buy it.

I agree with you 100% on that point. Unfortunately, when I started playing my Warg I had absolutely NO CLUE what was going on out here. The furthest thing from my mind was how Vets were going to feel about some scrub Warg buying skills. Actually, the person who encouraged me to buy skills had been playing since open beta so obviously I took his advice.

Now, had TT been the first person I came in contact with out here I would've at least had someone telling me NOT to buy stuff from the store... although, he does spend all his TP on Crumbling Brands

And I can always remove skills/traits for 1v1's and keep everything at rank (which is nice) but most of the time I'm encouraged by my opponents to use everything I have.. because I sux

You toss the ''storebought'' accusation around a lot, yet can't recognize what skills are bought and what is "normal" gameplay. Tell me, what skills have I bought?

Good fights today at GTA, however it died out because (I assume) of the ganking on both sides. Oh well, Great fights everyone, I know myself I got lots of infamy and had lots of fun tonight!

PS- Esegar and Giledor, such good fights with you two. I think it's one of the first times I actually managed to kill Ese, even if it was a double kb.

Just something I'd like to point out about getting someone to 1v1 you.

It is extremely disrespectful to attack someone if you want him to 1v1 you.

I never declined a fight with anyone, but I will as long as people keep doing that.

I always try to see things from the point of view of a freep and creep, but this is something that usually freeps do.

I'm not sure if it's the "I'm OP" mentality of said minstrels, like "I'm attacking you to get you to 1v1 me, if you don't like it, doesen't matter, I can kill you anyway", but, please, grow up.

Great fight Elmo, I like those 1v1's that aren't like scheduled, they just happen out in the middle of nowhere.

Good 1v1 to that cappy whose name starts with a R. (I can't remember)First I was like "Okay Manheal, I can deal with that." Then the 15s Last Stand showed up and I was like "Shiz, drop Shadow and switch to Flayer. Kite kite kite!" I won with low morale and Lowki finished me off.
