Thread: ~The Sanctuary~ A Place to Belong

Sanctuary is currently recruiting.

Just in case any of our friends have been trying to find us, our vent IP address has changed. We're now at 216.6.224.117. All of the other information is still the same.

Hope everyone enjoyed the "Monster Play" weekend! We've been getting some fun in-house rivalries between our freeps and creeps. Catch us on the dark side with the tribe "Asylum."

Again, some Vent issues have caused to change our info. I you're trying to figure out where we went, feel free to PM me or visit our message board.

In any case, the DNS record should be kept up-to-date so we don't have to keep updating IPs anymore.

Had some new people join up, some old new people join up, and had some old members come back so we're running all kinds of varied content right now. Plus, as always, we're having a crazy fun time in vent and in-game. If you see a Sanctuarian, say hi and don't offer us cake, you may loose a hand.

I'm not sure that's accurate. I don't think anyone would actually lose a hand by offering us cake.

They would definitely lose a cake, though.

So, we had an AWESOME time celebrating our four year anniversary (and Aquilla's level capping). We killed each other many many times in the moors, played some funny hide & seek: sardine style, and then had a great chicken run! I have the pics of the chicken run and I'm sure others will post more.

We got together and stormed Bree. Took some people out. Here's Durladin going in for the killing blow...


We gathered at Boar Fountain for a photo-op after.


We then got arrested and had to face a police line-up...


Luckily for us we all feigned death and quickly made an escape...


Thanks to L for being our protector and relayer of stuff from the 'normal' side. Also, thanks everyone who attended and those in Bree who had to deal with the feathers after! It was a blast!

Let the leveling and skirmishing and new characters and stuff commence! We had some fun times doing a few skirmishes and working a level or two. Join the fun, if you dare!

Sanctuary just added several new recruits and we're still looking for more. Whether your a newbie just starting out or a high level looking for some end game challenges there's a place for you in Sanctuary.

What I love is that everyone, especially old friends and our European counterparts, when they hear this, they are so amazed! :P We love you Aquilla!

We've had a great time doing some classic SoA content in-between our runs of SoM stuff and it's been great. Plus, we've had not only some new people added to our ranks, but some new old people!! It's always nice when people come back!

So Gio and I got an idea: Morrovals in the Moors; just we have to keep Cuchir away otherwise he'll just sit there and swoon. hahaha

I ahve a toon on this server who is kinless, and this one caught my eye. That is, until I read point 1 in the pledge:

At which point I said "****."

I am a new adventurer in the middle earth; currently exploring the bree-land along with my faithful herald. i would like to know if i can be part of Sanctuary in my journey through the middle-earth.

i play at GMT+5:30 time-zone evening/night time; so i would like to know if there are fellow adventurers in the kinship who play at similar time.

Sanctuary is still recruiting anyone from level 1-65 and we have a TON of stuff planned for the summer. Anything from Kinship Parties [Chicken Play, anyone?] to attempting Ost Dunhoth! Heh found this thread and realized it needed an update. We're still around and growing quite nicely. We are very much a casual kin that does have opportunities to run end game content either on our own or with alliances (we have schedule but there are no requirements). You may have wandered past our thread about The Long Fellowship, which is a long form event designed to access content that is quite often skipped in the rush to end game particularly by fellow LOTROs who are bored with lowbie content.

Hello! We usually run TLF at about 9-11 AM US EST time. That would be 12AM-2AM your time, I belive. We also do it on Sundays at 1-3PM US EST time, so 4AM-6AM your time, and finall at around 6PM i belive on Mondays. That would be about 9AM for you.
