Another female gamer here, been playing MMOs for more years than I care to admit..

I'm a bit of an oddity in that I generally play male toons though, just easier! Think this comes from the early days when there were so few women playing MMOs that the moment the guys found one, you were either dismissed as not knowing how to play, looked at as fresh meat, or at the least treated as some freak..

I just wanna come on, play and not be hassled with male adolescence.. so playing male toons works for me..

Megshin, I saw you ingame a couple days ago. If you find me on as Laerwen, I can also go through the Moors with you. And, if anything, if you get in a sticky situation when you're alone, use Desperate Flight. It's very satisfying to imagine them cursing at their monitor... *ducks*

Just stay with a large group. And don't be afraid of dying. It's a lot of fun.

I am having fun in Lotro and been spending allot of time with the aussies. I think the reason I made it into the Sin guild was I talked on vent and Sokar couldn't resist. Least that is what I am told

Lady gamer here as well I don't know about salons but my elf neighborhood could sure use a shopping mall. FYI as a lady gamer I do try to use my power only for good...but naughty things just seem to come my way It's those MA boys I tell ya!! <innocent look>

Girl gamer here! My real-life husband and I were introduced to WoW this past Spring but cancelled our accounts the July day we discovered LoTRO and never looked back. You'll usually find my characters questing with my husband's...unless I'm giving in to my two "virtual addictions" : crafting and auction-checking.

I'm 34, mother of one 3 year old, and have been playing MMO's since Ever Quest. My hubby (then boyfriend) introduced me to EQ in 2000. We also played DAoC, SWG, and EQ2 together before LOTRO.

I only tried a MUD once way back when, and when I almost immediately died (ROFL) I decided it wasn't for me. I did play adventure games on my Commodore 64 .

Good to see alot of girl gamers, I always feel outnumbered when I'm raiding with my kin - usually the only girl I'm 19 years old, Canadian, and I got into LOTRO because of my boyfriend, and I'm loving it!
