LOTRO Client Download Information
The LOTRO client is now available for download to players who don't have access to the installation DVDs or a DVD drive. This client installation does not contain the high resolution texture files or all of the cinematics; those features are only included on the retail DVDs.

I would assume that it is the US client as it is done through Turbine. Codemaster's is handling the European players...

Only way to get Hi res is to have the Dvd's....

Awesome....just found this, amd I'm glad as my computer at work doesn't have a DVD drive. Now I can play during lunch!!!

(or at least craft and work on traits)
