Had exactly the same thing. I am on the Snowbourne server which was pretty much on its knees at the time (from all the chat about lag on globallff).

Do you have flash enabled? Flash can allow some pretty nasty malware to run...all you need to do is visit a compromised (web) site. Some pretty big names have been compromised in the past.

I play on Snowbourn, I got 'stuck' as if the connection was lost however chat was still rolling by. I exited and re-logged and my character had rolled back about 15 minutes or so.
