I am a huge fan of the Paradox strategy games like Europe Universalis 3, Crusader Kings 2 etc.

True, but that is were OPTIONS come in instead of forcing it on those who don't like to powerlevel to end cap.
The only way for these people as it is now is either swallow it, not play at all, or... -

I was VIP when I went through Enedwaith.
For less then 400TP I would say it is a good deal even if you have Mirkwood.
If you want to stay on level it is about Level 60 to come out of Moria but... -

The store is maintained somewhere outside LOTRO servers I believe.
So the LOTRO servers stores the amount earned and transfers it to the Store backend/Interface a little bit later. ... -

Just keep playing there and do all the quest's.
They are easy.
If you in the 8 or 9 level range the quests send you to Combe.

In WoW you could make a Deathknigt which start at level 50.
Only thing you had to do was level one toon to level 50 before that option become available.
So the same thing Turbine can do and do... -
