Pretty much it. I'd ask all those "trying to keep balance" to go to other games/companies and see those who are "supposed to" be doing their "jobs" NOT "doing their jobs" - hence gold spammers...

I figured that would happen when ROI came out, but I also knew the problem would be resolved (here) :) I know it does happen BUT it is at least addressed here...and for that...it is appreciated...

We have been out of the game a few months now due to various reasons and are looking forward to returning with 4 pay accounts like before...anyway the point of this thread is this: for the heck of...

Anyone can log into steam without friends knowing your on. Pretty much every thing mentioned not liked about it can be turned off...just takes a minute in the user settings. You can make your profile...

PMB is evil. Would be interesting to know how many people have skipped trying this game out due to that very thing. I know of at least 5.

Griz, what server are you guys on? I myself play lotro with 4 of my kids (3 sons and daughter)...we have several alts. I can share what we do together to keep the fun in the game...but I have to get...

Hopefully some things will be reconsidered and not ignored with several of the thoughts presented here. Your post did not come across as whiney, but well thought out...hopefully it won't go unnoticed...

Wanted to say I liked this comment (along with a lot of other well thought-out observations from everyone else)...just wanted to post something before this thread goes the way of the dodo. :)

I think the design of it is to cause posters to want to watch what they say and therefore earn the respect of the community by being a "thoughtful/courteous etc." poster but I've seen the opposite...

I know of at least one other MMO that has the option to disable xp earned until a person wants to continue leveling and then you can enable it again. Not entirely a bad idea.
