Re: Galadriel is too short
Nope. Even taking the slight posture difference to account, in a slight slouch Galadriel should be at least equal height to the average elven model. The posture also isn't significantly different to...

Re: Farming of Tp's should not be allowed.. it hurts the game
I would argue the exact opposite. Having the ability to earn your own TP through gameplay gives a good incentive to familiarize yourself with store content and actually has lowered my inhibitions...

Alright, Jassiminn, you sound like you're simply burnt out on the game. I had that around 6 months ago and it felt really good to just drop it, do something else and come back again when it felt like...

Unfortunately, clipping isn't going to go away. Any hair that extends past shoulder length will always inevitably clip to some degree depending on gear, since LOTRO doesn't have physics simulation...

I absolutely, totally love what they did with Stangard and the interiors. Seriously the single best roleplay friendly space I've seen in any modern MMORPG ever. Bought the quest pack just to support...

Re: New hairstyles
I agree with all of this. The old hairstyles look really rushed and dated. So I threw together a few quick ideas for new looks (click for full size):

Whoa, this is a good move. The items have previously been such a bother to get that I've skipped them on a number of characters. Time to hit the skirmish vendor :)

Calling all Rohirrim RPers - Stangard awaits!
So, the new area Great River hosts a big Rohirric town named Stangard. This town is full of roleplay space we've spent a few years straight asking for, with every house coming with a furnished...

Re: Chance Thomas to score Riders of Rohan
Wow, this is really good news after Mirkwood, Enedwaith and RoI, latter of which had particularly poor quality music. I've ran a good 90% of the content with music turned off entirely, whereas I...

Re: Is Turbine expanding Middle Earth to slowly?
Yes it is.
Though it doesn't include WoW's most recent expansions, and some of these are disputable, but it still actually dwarfs WoW by a long shot. -

Re: Is Turbine expanding Middle Earth to slowly?
I spoke with an ex-Turbine dev elsewhere and they talked about having worked on Lotro as early as 1999 when it was still supposed to become Middle Earth Online. Some of the game's music was also...

Any RP environment anywhere has it to some degree. It's got a lot to do with the inherent lack of rules and guidelines in freeform RP and you have players from all walks of life. Some like to RP an...

'What a pair of rotters' really isn't complementing anyone. Should probably edit the names out of there before someone reports it.

I'm not going to mention any names or point any fingers, but your kin does have a bit of a reputation of mixing up Middle Earth with Assassin's Creed. I know of people systematically avoiding certain...

Smokey black horse was introduced long before they started modeling the accessories on the horses. Basically everything pre-F2P has been and stays a plain horse model with painted-on stuff.

The cloaks are animated through a bone rig, not a physics simulation. There's no way to even simulate it without SOME clipping issues occurring, and dangle/cloth simulation can be highly taxing on...

I'd enjoy new textures for character models. The faces could use a lot more detail, maybe several texture options to give more variety to facial features without needing to add more meshes? So you...
