Re: Another where to quest thread - relatively specific though
I had no idea Evendim was getting a revamp. Interesting since I've been following all the announcements and listen to a lot of lotro podcasts. First I've heard of it.
Hmm, maybe this answers my... -

Another where to quest thread - relatively specific though
I'm a 32 burglar and sick of lone-lands and do not want to quest in north downs as I recently did that area on my champ. I realize I've basically got two choices being Evendim and Trollshaws. I...

Re: Is Burglar Playable?
Ah, my bad then. Apparently my reading comprehension is on the weak side today. Well, if that's the case I'm glad to hear it because the class is extremely fun to play.

Re: Is Burglar Playable?
What's "gimp" about the class to you? There's nothing lacking in this class if you ask me. You don't need massive AoE soloing if you can debuff and CC in addition to decent DPS. So, I just don't...

Re: Is Burglar Playable?
I feel like this cannot be mentioned enough. I totally agree here. I'm just a mere 31 level burg and so many times I've played in PUG's where it's very clear they no one understands what the burg is...

Re: Auction House Limit: A plea to the Devs
I didn't read all 4 pages of replies, but the AH is completely fine. There should be no limit as to what you can sell something for. The market will dictate the prices. That's supply and demand!

Re: Is Burglar Playable?
I'd agree that Burglar is extremely fun to play and you mix up your skills depending on each encounter. I've had much more fun on my burglar than my champ which, to me, was just one strategy the...

Ok, I get ya now. When I read something you wrote I took it differently than what you meant. This: "There's no need to limit their skill rotations with unnecessary mezzes.". With your...

Re: Subscritpion question
For others reading this thread let's be clear that you can attach both an SoA key and MoM key as long as you do it in that order. You can't attach two SoA keys to one account (which I think is what...

Re: Subscritpion question
I agree with the other replies. This will not work for you since you've already applied Moria. You can stack SoA and MoM, but have to do that in order. First apply SoA and then MoM. If you're just...

Re: Burg and ? for Duo
This is interesting. I have only leveled a champ to 32, but I've found him squishy, even with a heavy shield, and cannot imagine an easy duo with a burg not using mezzes at all and just letting the...

Ah, yes. This is exactly what I was going to mention about burg/champ. It's easy to get pummeled when the mez is broken or resisted for that matter. Example: that gaunt men quest in epic out in...

Right. Almagnus1 seemed to be missing my point; that using Windows is not going to squeeze higher graphics settings out of this machine - there are hardware limitations. A Macbook can handle games...

I am open to other options. If I was going to run Windows I'd just build a PC tower and play LOTRO that way. However, I can play on my Mac just fine. Until I feel like building a PC there's no...

Don't shy away from the Burglar. This is my first MMO and I haven't had trouble understanding how to use the burglar. They are amazingly survivable. And I'm only at level 27 - from what I've read...

But we're posting in a thread about LOTRO on OS X. Why would it be safe to assume the people looking to play on OS X have a copy of Windows? Look at some other forums, plenty of people with Macs...

Re: LoTRO on OSX?
I'm still not sure why you assume it's Crossover. If you're running windowed mode I'd guess you're running other apps in the background (otherwise why run windowed)? So, that is likely eating up...
