We have been made aware of suspicious account requests via in game email and tells. These requests are very convincing and provide links to a site that has cloned the appearance of the lotro.com website. All players should be aware that this is not a valid site and is in no way associated with Turbine.
Example email/Tell:
“Becasuse you suspected of lllegal trade for gold, system will freeze your ID after one hour.If you have any questions, please login (URL) to make a complaint .We will be processing as soon as possible.Thank you for your understanding!”
Please be aware that all ingame contacts from a Turbine employee will have a '+' before their name. For example: +Sapience.

We're always impressed by the amount of dedication and talent shown by our players, and user-created videos are just one more way you've found to wow us. Every now and then we'll spotlight a video created by our players and share it with the community!
This week's self-titled video, "Dividion," was created by Dividion who reminisces about his adventures as he gazes at the various trophies that adourn his home. Volume II, Book 8 Known Issues |

The Following are the known issues for Volume II, Book 8.
Repeatable Quests
- Repeatable quests in Moria, Lothlorien, and the Ettenmoors are currently resetting their counters if you had the quest open prior to the release of Book 8.
- Those players who had accepted a repeatable quest prior to the release of Book 8 should cancel the quest and reacquire it from the NPC. This will prevent the counter reset and resolve the issue.
- Not cancelling the quest will result in the loss of progress but not rewards already earned.
Special Note For Monster Players- Monster Players currently working on their map deeds should cancel all currently active quests
