I try to solo in the moors, can you give me some tips plz ?

Can I use my herald with 5R ?
Which LI on my 2H weapon ?
I have to max Might, or Vita, or both ?

Focus is absolutely useless (except for trolling), so the devs should do us a favor and delete Focus from the captain class.

Is it just me or do cappies have some ridiculous levels of threat generation in mounted combat? I usually run in full tanking gear, 1040 might/1910 vitality and use the blue line on my warsteed so my dps is not high at all. I like to use a shortcut I made for /follow to keep right ontop of mobs rather than worry about a fury bonus so I tend to get more hits in that those who just ride around in circles. With almost every warband short of Shaguk in Wildermore I can tank and spank them in blue line without any heals and what confuses the hell outta me is that I almost never lose the aggression even against well gear players?? I can even hold them off of my gf's glass cannon runekeeper. Usually only glass cannon champs pull from me. If you think I'm nuts try it for yourself!

And to top this all off I use a light warsteed because I hate not having dash as a toggle. Cappies are nuts, none of my other 4 85's can do half of what my cappy can in MC. All I can guess is that using /follow for all those extra attacks is what builds up so much threat?

I was wondering what people consider enough tac mit. In particular I am a 4 red, 3 blue with around 6k finesse and right about 50% tac mit with scrolls up. While I am very happy with my morale levels I feel a little squishy with that low of a tac mit. This of course comes from someone used to running a guard.

Also I am wondering what the more offensive minded captains out there think about finesse levels. How much do you value it?

Hi guys, would you suggest the insignia of commanding presence for use in pvp (for CC) or would a true setting of the north be more useful?

In my earlier cappy days (i.e 1-60ish) in groups captains were awesome! but it seems to me at 85 cappys aren't very valuable to the groups. Sure the buffs and occasional bubble are nice, but every cappy i see on my server is fully decked out for heals, yet easily gets out-healed by the RK or mini. I very well understand we're the support role, which is why I picked a cappy. But I've seen many groups pick anything but a captain (or a burg for that matter, but thats another thread.) I'm hoping with the class revamp some of the classes get nerfed a little bit and our buffs become a little more useful. Once we pop Motivating and a tactic on everyone we might as well leave group, Shield/blade/song bro gets rendered useless when you have 2 champs a mini and a rk in the group. With something like 10k damage every second or 2 and 20k worth of heals in a raid where do we come in? buffing that damage up to 11k? heals up to 21k? I could be totally wrong. Just feel a little left out and useless nowadays.

Soloing however is totally different..
