First off, I am no programmer...Other than some basic website building for fun, I cannot speak code at all. Bearing that in mind, I have a plugin request that for all I know is not even possible...but here goes...

With the Lorebook soon to be gone, and the data no longer updated, etc, A game database seems to be very much in need. I realise there are several wiki's and other sites already around that attempt to do just that with mulitiple player's manual editing. The upkeep is obviously astronomical and oftentimes outdated.

My request is this: Can a plugin be created that will 'track' data encountered by the player in-game. And then via __something__ that information added to an online database? If this is possible then item information, quest information, etc can be kept much more up to date as all it takes is for someone to play the game.

An example to hopefully help clarify...Player A has plugin installed. They talk to NPC B to acquire Quest C, receiving Reward D. Information encountered, including the stats of the item reward, would be gathered, and then sent to update or verify the info on the online database.

Is this something remotely possible? And if so...is anyone able and willing to create such a thing? I really have no idea what all would be required to do this, and though I'd be no help in the programming, I'd be glad to assist however I can to get this project running.
