So I've been wondering the last day or 2 why even when theres a daily quest to go kill Voz, why I get there and I have to solo him for like 15 minutes to get my 5 golden tokens.

I ask brandywines GLFF and what do they say? "Nobody does warbands because the grind is terrible, and the older pocket items are better than wildermore ones."

Don't get the wrong idea and think I'm complaining. I'm just saying the devs pretty much did this wrong. 300ish tokens is far too many, and the rep doesnt' even really give that great of stuff. (and also, 500 rep per daily? Come on that sucks too)

I noted that someone, who looks like Michael Jackson, is in the loading screen of LOTRO - in fact, on joining the site, the same picture is on this forum as the background. It is the picture with the elves on horses charging from the left at the orcs on the right.

Is it just me, or does it really look like a copy of Michael Jackson's image? If so, surely no coincidental likeness?

It's always been my dream to make it to Lothlorien, but now that I'm in the upper levels I'm starting to realize that it may not be economically smart.

Lothlorien only supports players between the levels of 55-60, correct? But you can pick up quests at 54? But Enedwaith supports players between 60 - 75? (But quests can be picked up at 56 and go until 65?) Am I missing something here?

Is Lorien worth the purchase? What about Enedwaith? I do not raid, skirmish, do instances, or anything like that. Just solo questing mostly.

Btw I'm almost to level 54 and I'm following vol 1 and 2 Epics. Eregion is mostly finished in terms of questing, so I'm wondering what I should move on to next (not Moria!!)

is anyone else having this issue with the quest in scylfig in wildermore : "the noble guard" the 3 npc's not showing up??? iam supposed to talk to garsig, humbald, and grimgar. neither of them are there. they simply do not show up! iam beyond frustrated because i cannot get help with this issue. is ANYONE having this problem other than ME? i've filed bug reports. if its only me, then chances are, turbine wont fix it. :( btw, dropping the quest did NOT help! after i dropped it, i could not re acquire it without a GM bestowing it back to me.

If you are having problems sighning on or other problems, check your compute and see if your Internet is Being redirected espcially If you are being told that your Internet is not working if are trying down load programs or if your anti virus had suddenly stopped working. When I scrubed the computer with the heavier virus cleaning agents, I got a response that the computer was clean but it was not. If you find that a virus was to blame I would appreciate it if you let me know.

I have a lvl 57 Runekeeper and 44 Burglar which are both loading perfectly. However I wanted to roll a new hunter and the loading screen to the intro (not the tutorial) never loads...even after 20 minutes. I have tried multiple races and classes. My friend is having the same problem on a different computer and wifi network so this is obviously a problem on lotro's end. Anybody able to test my issue out?

This has mildly irritated me before now but in Wildermore it has reached its peak.

Every NPC I come across tells me "these are desperate times" in a voice that sounds like Ned Stark on a bad, rainy day when the Lannisters have drunk all his best ale.

I don't recall Wildermore technically being part of Yorkshire or Westeros.

I know they are desperate times but dear NPC you need to actually do something about this instead of sitting their being glum and expecting me to pick your crops for you and burn your dead orcs.

Could we just have one NPC now and again that says something with a bit of fight or hope or even just makes a normal comment about the weather or something ordinary?

If that isn't possible could we have a toggle option to turn off dour NPC comments? I've been questing through Middle Earth working my beard off trying to help these people for more than five years and it's got to the point where I now feel like slapping a lot of them and then possibly handing them over to the Sauron personally and seeing if he can put up with the endless whinging.
