press Esc and go into the Options, in the Audio section you can adjust volumes for different things like music, combat sounds, etc.

U can also disable game sounds under audio, so only voice chat is heard (if u have thAt enabled) I usually have that so I can hear voice better, but not much of an issue at lower levels. I don't think you kan disable combat music only, but if it's there u can look at audio options.

i like the regular music that plays, its just so annoying that it changes to awful monotonous military music everytime i get in combat. I tried turning down combat SOUNDS but there is no way to turn down the combat music.

I came across an elite, same level as me and i tried to kill it, i noticed the music when i fought it was different that the normal combat music, it was actually a lot cooler... shame i died so fast i didnt get to hear much of it -_-

the combat music will change in certain areas, I know what you are talking about now, and I don't like that score either
